Old place of mine always used to get Kyoceras as the consumables were relatively cheap, even at the scale you're looking at. Like you though, it's been a damned long time since I've thought much about office printers though

What words do you (or someone you know) say incorrectly...?

Scottish place names in general seem to be a mine field. Pretty much anything with "Kirk" in isn't what you'd immediately expect it to be. Examples near me: Kirkgunzeon, Kirkbean. Then there's all the places with Norse derived names. -

Hmm. According to Wikipedia: It's still wrong Thinking about it though, I used to work with someone who pronounced it "Scizzy" which is even more wrong -

Anyone who pronounces SCSI as "Sexy" needs help. Like, serious, serious help -
After seeing clips of it on line, I've been giving Mr. Inbetween a go. It's an Australian comedy/drama about a criminal for hire who has to balance that with his home life. It's on Disney+ From what I've seen of it, it's pretty good. Darkly humorous but also violent in places.

Do you have an account manager at Dell that you have a relationship with? If so, I'd contact them and throw in phrases like "Goodwill" and "Future business". Got to be worth a shot. Otherwise, try a company like PDQ Computers, a third party who sell support contracts for servers. They might be able to do a one off but obviously that'd cost.

How far is it out of warranty? It might be worth a call to Dell regardless.

I’ve seen sites use Ko-fi before. No idea if there any good though https://ko-fi.com/about

Filtering for schools
Norphy replied to cdwyersandysecondary's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
I've not worked in schools for a couple of years and haven't used Smoothwall in all of that time, so this may be out of date. I found that when you got hold of their support they were exemplary but a lot of the time, getting hold of them was a massive challenge. That was something that was being worked on so it might be better now. -

I'm six months behind you. @Dos_Box, 20 years of Edugeek isn't far away. Are you planning a blowout?

Something like this? 17" laptops seem to be relatively rare these days. This one seems to balance spec with price reasonably well. Anything cheaper than that and you're getting anemic CPUs and/or rubbish screens.
-
What's your budget? Any hard and fast requirements around the likes of weight, screen resolution etc? Anything that you'd like but isn't essential?

I’m another one who eats with my cutlery in the ‘wrong’ hands. My partner does too, but she still insists that when I set the table (and it’s almost always me who sets it because I do the cooking), I set it with the fork on the left and knife on the right, despite the fact neither of us eats that way. If I don’t, I get moaned at.

A lot of my American colleagues drop their Ts where you wouldn't necessarily expect them to be dropped, like "Identity" because "Ideniny" or something like that. Not like glottal stops like a lot of English do, like "bo-al of wor-ar" or my favourite "Lu-on" -
I got it twice - once at 3pm and again about ten minutes later. Happened to be driving at the time and the first time it made me jump out of my skin. I’m on Vodafone. My work phone, on an EE mvno, got it at 2.59 according to its notification history.

I posted in the movies thread about this, but yes my almost 7 year old son and I went to see it during the holidays. We both enjoyed it, there isn't much in the way of laugh out loud moments like there are in the Lego movie but it was still fun enough. I think that @ITGuyNW is right that an hour and half of Game-Mario voice would have been annoying as hell, Chris Pratt was fine if a little generic. Bowser was amusing enough, the Kongs was fun and I was glad that Peach wasn't just a damsel in distress who needed rescuing like she is in most of the games. The audience score on RT is still 96% which is telling. I think my biggest criticism to it compared to the Sonic movies is that it has very little in the way of plot; the Sonic movies have game references but are still accessible to people who have never played Sonic before because there's an actual story in there somewhere, whereas the story in Mario is very thin and the film itself is an hour and a half of game references which only fans of the game will get.

Completely agree. Make sure you keep watching after the poker game at the end for another post credits scene. I'm listening to the soundtrack that was released yesterday, it's pretty damn good too. It's on Apple Music and all the other streaming platforms. Also watched the last episode of Mando S3. That was good as well, tied up the series well. The way it's ended, it could easily be have been the last but there's another series coming apparently. Looking forward to Ashoka later on in the year.

I'm not convinced, personally, that it's worth the effort but: Create a GPO, or edit an existing one Go to Computer Configuration --> Preferences --> Local Users and Groups Right click, go to "New" and "Local User". Fill out the form, make sure the action is "Create" To add the user to the local admin group, right click in the same place, go to "New" then "Local Group". Type "Administrators" in as the group name and make sure that "Action" is set to "Update". Press the Add button, then type in the name of your new account. That should work. You may need to prefix the name with .\
