Why the great big rush for it folk?

Have noticed that since the 4th July weekend, there are far more folk cancelling the games they host on Horde. Was playing a few nights ago and had got to level 28 with 4 other folk. We were playing well as a team but the host paused the game, then cancelled it which kicks the rest of us out. Happened a few other times, sometimes after just a few rounds. Anyone else noticing this and getting annoyed? Edit: These aren't "party" games, just public.

That's a lot of money to pay for 2 qualifications that aren't relevant for Server 2008. Granted, 2003 has a lot of life left in it yet, but 2 years is a long time in I.T. However, HR departments only seem to look for the 4 magic letters, MCSA so it might be worth the punt. Can't you get your employer to fund it or part fund it?

I'm beginning to think this XP mode is going to be a huge backwards step. If it costs a company far less money to tweak their software so it works in XP Mode rather than make it fully compatible with Windows 7, then that it was they will do.

Just stumbled across Xirrus over the weekend. They provide a free tool for inspecting Wi-Fi signals. Been looking for such a tool for ages. Looking forward to testing it this afternoon.

3G dongle support is out of the box on Ubuntu 9.04, including the Ubuntu Remix. Both work a treat on a Toshiba NB100 netbook, which makes me a very happy Pie Muncher! To the OP, I didn;t play around with the remix too much as I wanted more control over it. (Should be fine for kids though) I'm sure you can still add and remove programs.
