  1. Thanks all, we shall be letting you know when the time comes.
  2. My apologies for the delayed response here, we had to get several ducks to line up last week before I could. We are to get the mods to begin testing the new site this week all being well. Once we are happy with how it looks, we should then be doing a test phase where we shall be asking for volunteers to go over it for us before we pick a date for it to go live. I’d like to add more and give definite timelines, but these will only become apparent once we get further down the testing route. I’ve attached a screengrab below, but please note that this is a ‘base’ install without any of the plugins, customisations and add-ons we intend to incorporate.
  3. I'll apologise for the image quality now, it's really hard to find a decent hi-res image of this groundbreaking device.
  4. Well I can't provide an response now as I snuck a glance at the answer you deleted I will say though that I almost bought one back in the day. kinda glad I didn't now and stuck with what I had at the time.
  5. Hmm, I think you're going to have to give us all a better clue.
  6. Heh, reminds me of those Quorn 'ham' slices ads showing atm.
  7. Well, it seems to have kicked in here after a reboot:
  8. Hmm, this passed me by. It appears if you have a Virgin M100 or M200 connection, you are to get a free speed boost. I'm on an M200 connection and just about to reboot my router to see if it picks it up as I'm still showing 200Mbps. https://www.techradar.com/news/virgin-media-is-giving-users-a-free-speed-upgrade-heres-how-to-get-it
  9. Paging @ICTDirect_Dave!
  10. Paging @ICTDirect_Dave!
  11. I know that one! It's the barcode off a tin of Heinz Chicken and Mushroom soup! You may need to zoom in the image to get the right sized snip.
  12. What, like a stackable Roomba?
  13. Thought it could be an external Zip drive with that hint, but it's not. May be on the right track though?
  14. That does look very familier, but can't for the life of me remember. I think it's the colour that is ringing the mental bells.
  15. Winner! Sorry, I missed your post yesterday (probably becuase you posted at exactly the same time as me!) For those not around at the time, before it became common for almost all printers to have network ports fitted, you had to use something like this, where the print server would connect to the network and you'd connect your printer via a parallel cable to the device. With these, it wasn't uncommon for them to simply freeze mid-print, then having you trek to the other side of the school to turn it off and on again. I was very glad to see the back of them!
  16. Where the toasters go to of course!
  17. Right thing, wrong company
  18. So very close, just the manufacturer and model range name will do
  19. Both nope. Think parallel port printers.
  20. Whilst not exactly fax machine related, I do recall having to implement some very poor email>fax and fax>email software back in the day. It was supposed to tie in with Exchange and utilised a 56K dial-up US Robotics modem. I can't even begin to describe how terrible it was and it hardly ever worked.
  21. And they often stopped doing what they were supposed to be doing for no reason whatsoever!
  22. You're on the right track, but not a printer, and not HP.
  23. We had a nice chat with someone from this company at BETT earlier in the year - https://www.nellcote.co.uk/services/penetration-testing/
  24. If your Dalek is to live inside you'd have to fit ramps to your front and back doors (if you want it to have access to your patio).
