  1. No one? Fine, another clue then
  2. Handi - The true story of a man who could do DIY without hitting nails.
  3. It's a sad week in music so far.
  4. Very sad news
  5. I had marmalade on toast for brekkie this morning. I shall be checking closer before eating next time!
  6. Tardigrade on marmalade?
  7. My turn, and I think this should be easy as many here either had one of these or knew someone who did...
  8. Pretty sure it's a GeForce 5 series of some description.
  9. ETA Prime on YouTube often covers very small form factor PC's which would be more than up for the task (dependant on budget), but as @AB_IT and pthers say, it's not much help unless you have the software to run a good front end that will allow for multiple streaming apps + other sources. I made quite a few media PC's back in the day, but once smart TV's, PVR's and other set top boxes came along then it all went a bit quiet on the media PC front, which is a shame as they were great fun to setup. I'd love to get one of these, but I have no idea what I'd do with it now that my TV provides all that I need media wise.
  10. I'm stealing that!
  11. The seas' honey badger?
  12. If anyone has been to The Deep in Hill, you'll know just how thick the glass is on these tanks. I wonder what failed.
  13. And quite a collectors item now, they fetch a tidy sum. I remember quite a few years ago visiting ICT Direct and they had a waste bin full of old graphics cards with many Voodoo 2's in there. I declined a rummage thinking it was just old tech at that point (I used to have a Voodoo 2 in the late 90's). They would be worth a small fortune today.
  14. I can only imagine just how many mops were needed after! - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-63996982 Luckily only a couple of injuries though (unless you were a fish that is!).
  15. I'll go for a Voodoo 3 as well.
  16. I was thinking that, but the early ones (I had a GeForce 2) had fans IIRC?
  17. TBH, with the way it is going you'd need a crystal ball. On one hand you run the risk of being stuck at a high rate if you fix now, and on the other you may just have to accept an even higher rate in the near future. I have no idea how far this will go and I do sympathise with your position. I'm sure others here can probably point you in the right direction of mortgage advice sites which may have a much more professional long term view.
  18. Some kind of floppy disk magazine (holds multiple floppies)? I've never seen one of those before, but we did have all kinds of weird and wonderful hardware back in the day.
  19. Well, you cetainly win an award for the most obscure!
  20. Is it an acoustic coupler of some kind?
  21. Are you sure you're not making jelly? It looks like 4 chunks of blackcurrent and one of raspberry!
  22. I think we're going to need another clue, I can't place that as part of a thing at all!
  23. The Black Knight satellite?
  24. Agreed, always wanted one of those (the Jaguar, not just the controller!). Ended up with a Mega Drive though, so no complaints there!
  25. Dammit (I said it was easy!), yes. In particular the 5 port version, which I guess many here actually own.
