Just seen my December dual fuel bill I'm glad the cold snap was only 2 weeks!

Went to see Violent Night last night. Very funny, imagine a mash-up of The Santa Clause, Die Hard and Home Alone. Its run is coming to an end and we saw it in a smaller screen, but there were only three empty seats in the place and everyone was laughing out loud and making the appropriate noises whenever an on-screen ouchy occured. I can see this becoming an adult Xmas standard fun film. Go and see it whilst you still can!

I got an email from Bulb about this. I think mine is to drop by about 1p per Kwh. I look forwards to my visit to the penny chew sweet shop at the end of Jan.

@ZeroHour has an oil boiler and I know he did some shopping around for his winter refill I think, but there wasn't a lot in it IIRC.

I meant to reply yesterday that it was a great phone back in the day (before HTC lost their way), as long as you didn't mind it needing frequent fiddling just so you could do internet things. Pre-smartphone smartphones were just the worst (stand fast Blackberry).

Well, what a pain. You can only renew once it actually runs out. I have an hour or so to wait now!

I cycle a lot and find that just bizzare and pointless. There are plenty of cycle paths around me that have 'junctions' and no one has ever needed a roundabout. Everyone will slow down for a corner or turn on them. I do have to wonder what the thinking was. Mind you, they are putting in a load of new cycleways in Prston at the moment. Just not where they are needed. They assume cyclists will just use main roads (with their new cycleways) which almost all have large, and often steep hills on. Cyclists don't go on these routes as they can go direct to their destinations in most cases, that and that Preston is the UK's third wettest city making cycling not exactly a widespread way of getting to work.

My (ok, my kids) renewal is due tomorrow and I noticed last week that it was set to auto-renew, and at a silly rate of around £70. Turning off auto-renew now gives me the option of getting it at £34.99 with the expansion pack. Just a heads-up as this is a new service and I know many on here had subscribed about this time last year and don't want you to be caught out. And let's not mention Nintendo's awful online sevices that has you logging into many different areas (I opened three!). Seriously guys, just have one place eh? Everyone else seems to manage it!
