Some of our teachers really like the Microsoft Whiteboard app on the iPad and it does a lot of what we want, but no isometric, squared or other type of maths paper is available for it so far as we can tell, you can however import an image and write/draw over it. So with that in mind does anybody know of any large images of maths style paper? All i can find are A4 printouts , i need something bigger really for use with the app, or is there a way for me to generate these easy and export them from some product like some of the Adobe products?

We shut them down at 4:30 , don't need to make any scripts or add 3rd party tools as the OS X Server has simple tick boxes with computers on and off times.

The problem could be Virtual Machine Queues , you will get VERY slow network performance if its turned on with those network cards. You turn it off on the network adaptors properties, here is a screen shot.

I take it the server virtualised with you changing the processor quantity? If so is it on a server with Broadcom network adaptors? and if that is yes is it HyperV with the host server running either 2008 R2, 2012, or 2012 R2?

Trying to create a dataset on our internet reporting software which is all done in SQL. Trying to grab google searches with specific words in them. So for example if i use keyword = 'bum' , the search phase 'pokey bum w**k' won't be matched as its looking for exactly the word bum. So i did keyword LIKE '%bum%' and it matches, but so does the word album which is not what i am after. So then i though what about putting a space either side so its keyword LIKE '% bum %' which works for pokey bum w**k, but fails when i then do keyword LIKE '% gay %' if gay is the first word as it does not start with a space. Is there a way in SQL to match any whole words in a string? (and yes the kids have been searching for pokey bum w**k )

We have 7 sites, 5 on Ruckus and 2 on Aruba. I prefer the Ruckus, interface is better and the performance on the Ruckus feels better.

I have it, and have played it for maybe an hour, i like it BUT i feel it does not have enough multiplayer modes, and non of my PS4 friends have it so i find my self getting my 360 out more and playing Rainbow Six Vegas 1 and 2.

My disposable after rent, fuel, food, gas, council tax, water, broadband and electric is over £2200 a month. I've got no kids, no dependents and i'm single so £900 on a watch is not expensive and £300 is pocket change.

I normally enjoy the Tom Clancy games, but i only play multiplayer with the genre. I tried the open beta on the PS4 this weekend, i did not like it. You had to get to level 8 before you could do online multiplayer so instantly hated it. Its a shame as graphically i liked. My experience so far of the latest gen consoles are great for single player, but one of the most anti social gaming platforms yet and i really hate it. Xbox removed System Link with the Xbox One, on Tom Clancy Rainbow Six Siege the multiplayer options are poor, and most games don't seem to have split screen support. Whilst on contrast at the weekend i had mates over, got my 6 Xbox 360s out and had lots of fun on Rainbow Six Vegas 1/2, PG4, Call of Duty Black Ops 2 via System Link real social gaming. I also keep gold on them so we can join online too as a group or play GTA 4 online.

Its not every month, its just for each new country in the game they release, and they plan to do 1 a month until around October/November time i believe.

I'm quite glad they are doing it in Episodes at £10 a month as i did not want the expensive this month of a £50 game but £10 allow me to spread it.

Anybody else got the new Hitman: World of Assassination on Pre-order so they can get early access with the Beta on Friday? I think my weekend is going to disappear. Love the Hitman games, apart from the last one absolution, that wrecked the game but the new one looks more like Blood Money which was my favourite after Contracts.

Reporting on it is amazing, BUT you have to get the addon of forti analzyer to do anything decent as the built in stuff is minimal. For example it takes 4 seconds to give me the top 200 search queries for today. Gives me daily email reports about attacks from the internet on our web servers, what attack it stopped, what IP was attacking. User reporting i can get a very detailed view of google searches by a particular user plus every website access in a nice table listing URL, time, action (blocked, allowed) and category it was in. When i looked at the spec sheets before buying years ago Fortigate wipes the floor with its competitors performance wise / sessions per second i believe this is a lot to do with they use ASIC processors and not x86. We have the Fortigate 200D which was about £6000 you can see on the data sheet the throughtput it can handle http://www.fortinet.com/sites/default/files/productdatasheets/FortiGate-200D.pdf It has a big learning curve as it can do so much.

Fortigate by fortinet is an alternative , its what we use.

We had some old 2006 XP licensed laptop in the store room that i decommissioned 2 years ago, written off but not disposed off. Decided over christmas to take 8, wiped them fresh XP install and put all the old games me and close group of friends use to play in our college days, take an image and replicate it on the other 7. So Age of Empires II, original Ghost Recon, Command and Conquer , Battlefield 1942, Dark Reign, Atomic Bomberman. We all went round one persons house i took the laptops, just plug in and play, was so much fun. I still take them round now on Tuesday nights and we normally play age of empires 2.

Is it being re-engineered to a web app so we can run it on a range of clients from iPads, Linux, Mac or will it be requiring a Windows client again?

Hmmm, thats not good then as the 6 Primaries we support already pull their face at the £1300ish they spend a year on EES at the moment. Hopefully by 2018 they will all have more iPads and can make do with Pages, Numbers and Keynote making less of a need for EES.

Whilst i don't know about Logic Pro, i would say get the Mac from Apples Refurb store Refurbished Mac - Buy Refurbished Mac Products - Apple (UK) if they have a model you are after in stock. I have bought over 60 Macs from there, you cannot tell they are refurb, they look brand new apart from the box which is a special refurb one. Generally its a Mac thats been dead on arrival, like bust backlight on a Macbook, its returned, customer gets a new one, Apple fix the faulty one and pop a new shell on it and its as good as new and you get to save some cash.
