Ahh..yes..I must agree with that. Actually come to think of it, any of the firefly women would be better firefly women are teh hot ! Which must be something about firefly, as my missus thinks that the guy who plays Captain Mal is gorgeous too.

Jake replied to ITWombat's topic in Virtual Learning Platforms
Moodle here , cost for one, and secondly for popularity really. With more and more folks using moodle, its garnering a decent community, which is handy for modding and troubleshooting -
Yeah, we are using PCounter too, though we are thinking of giving this a whirl. http://www.softwareshelf.co.uk/files/products.asp?ID=121

Might be a long shot, and not even entirely sure its in any way relative to the problem, but you could try editing the registry at ... HKcurrentuser\software\policies\microsoft\mmc and changing the restricttopermittedsnapins value from 1 to 0 As I say, might not be the same thing, but I had a similar problem with my group policy snapin once and this solved it.

We had problems with students "forgetting" passwords. In reality it was often that their password was a boyfriend/girlfriends name and they had changed their other half, or more commonly it was just an excuse to get out of doing any schoolwork. We implemented a password change fee, 50p. AMAZINGLY, suddenly they all began "remembering" their passwords Its worked so well that we have now dropped the fee, unknown to them, and they have stuck with remembering their passwords and not bothering us

Yup...paternity leave over. Now to try and catch up on whats being happening in the IT world for the last month. Government said we should all be using OS/2 yet?
-
Hehe..yeah. Its actually extremely easy and quick to level in WoW if you know what you're doing. Can get a character to 60 in a month pretty easily, its all just a question of knowing which quests to do in which order, and optimizing your double experience time.

I may be missing from the forums for a few weeks, as in the wee small hours of this morning, my good lady wife presented me with a gorgeous baby daughter. Its our first child, we did try many years ago but lost it and it has taken us this long to pluck up the courage to try again, everything has gone smoothly this time around , and mother and babe are doing great. Now to get a mouse into her hand at the earliest possible time

No, nothing at all. Whats weird is that I can send the same mails from their work machine and it always goes through.

On our admin machines, we have outlook 2003, running through exchange server. Dont have any problems with it, but this one. Which is totally warping my brain. A member of our SMT is away for a few weeks at the moment, and wants their email forwarded to their home address (which is an aol address). So, naturally enough I set up exchange to auto forward their mail. Thing is, the forwarded mails arent actually arriving. I receive no message about sending failure (at least not as yet). So, I tried forwarding their mails manually from my machine, still havent arrived. Yet....if I forward them from their work machine, it arrives every time. Tried a couple of other machines, and again they dont arrive. For some strange reason, I can only forward the emails to their home aol address successfully from their own work machine. Now, I could just pootle into their office a few times a day and forward their mail. But thats frankly too time consuming. Any ideas why it wont forward from my machine or direct via the server?? I checked the server logs, and the mail "seems" to be going, but never arrives.

I played guildwars for about 5 weeks when it was released, I was (and still am) heavily into World of Warcraft, but was curious to check it out. Quite enjoyed my time in guildwars, but ultimately found that it didnt have enough depth or content for me.
