Are you sure that password manager isnt a third party piece of software? I have checked our windows 2003 servers and cant find any mention of a built in Password Manager. The way the screenshot has sections for "pupils documents" and "printer credits" smacks a little of a seperate piece of software or plugin too. Course..I could just be being blind and not seeing it though

Whereabouts did you install that from? I dont see it on the standard install

Yeah, we run PMP too. We used to just use pcounter, but have found pmp far more versatile

Yeah thats why we do it, especially when it comes to outfitting a new IT suite, its just easier for us to buy a few rolls of 300m of catv and run it around the trunking in the room to each workstation and pop some rj45 sockets into the trunking. Saves us the hassle of having to get a supplier to provide us with the right lengths of cable

I dont really know any clever way of remembering the order, I just always remember it. We make all our cables up so I do it regularly and the order is just emblazoned into my mind

Got to admit, I just dont appear to suffer from work related stress. Essentially I do what I am supposed to do, and dont do or care about anything that isnt my responsibility. Which is exceptionally handy as it means that I just dont have anything to be stressed about besides...there is no sense in me getting stressed about things which I have no control over

Which backup system is everyone using, we have been using veritas, but frankly arent overly fond of it and are considering a change. Anyone got any recommendations?

A possibility, but I am not sure the problem lies in the program reading the right path, I mean the software appears to be starting , just that you cant actually interact with it once its begun (and so cant continue past the opening screen). Thinking its more like some kind of java, flash, active x issue or something

yeah , I tried from cd, and also tried copying the contents across. The splash page comes up, with the little loading indicator, then says a title, something like Framework Coursemaster Maths 7 (think it was light blue text on a plain white background), then just kind of sits there, cant click on anything or interact with it. Cant remember if I tried pointing it to main.swf or home.swf though, I will try pointing it to main.swf sometime later this week Also found a file called Path.txt which had the file paths in it, tried changing that to point to the copied location, still did the same thing. I could try their website I suppose, but not today...some of this "high production values" software gets on my proverbials

Anyone got this stuff? Oxford Framework Maths Coursemaster 7 , 8 and 9 the devil is called. Its one of these so called teaching aids, you know the ones, runs in web browser, uses just about every gimmick known to man, activex, shockwave flash, java, shockjava wave-x, activeflashjavashock blah blah blah. Maths department wanted it installed on their machines over the break, just gone to install it, runs...and just sits there on the splash page. Doesnt seem to do anything else at all. Ironically when you install it, it appears to install java 0.0.0.0.0.0.1 and shockwave flash player version 0.1 pre-alpha, 1977 release. So guess it could be that it just doesnt run with the latest java and flash (which of course are on our machines). Still, on the plus side, one less thing to do during the break

Got it this weekend, played about 10 hours so far. Graphics are utterly stunning, loved morrowind but Oblivion has just got me saying morrowwho? Got to be a contender for game of the year by the years end.

Seems like a good idea, VLEs are a heavy topic of discussion at the moment. Actually, next week I am attending the SEGfL (south east grid for learning) learning platform event down here on the south coast. A large portion of which will be about implementation of VLEs within education, there is also going to be several VLEs on demo there so we can compare various systems. Becta are there warbling away, so hopefully I can get a clearer idea of whats expected VLE wise.

Most bizarre thing has cropped up this morning. Whenever a particular member of staff goes to print from Nova, the print range values are 1-9999. Click on "All" and you get 9999 pages churning through the printer. Settings when printing from other packages are fine, just from Nova. Was working fine yesterday.
