I guess the easiest way to find out is either buy one and test it or ask your supplier for a demo one and play around with it. At that price though, I wouldn't expect too much from it.

If you're talking about Windows 10 1803, 1790, 1703 etc. then from what I understand these will appear in Windows Updates for Home Users but not for Enterprise users which is why you may not find them in WSUS. They are available as ISO images on the Microsoft Licensing website. I've never used MDT, but to Automate it using SCCM all you do as add it as an Upgrade and then deploy it to your computers as Required and then it'll upgrade them to the latest version of Windows 10.

Yes but they also claim to sell Cisco branded UHT Milk on their website - I did query this with them and they confirmed it's correct and they are trying to sell Cisco UHT milk cartons for over £800 so somethings a bit strange there so avoiding them like the plague! Windows 10 Education 1803. Separate GPOs - no. New GPOs to replace existing ones - maybe! You will need the latest ADMX files as they have the newer settings for Windows 10 PCs (as well as maintaining the settings for older OS's). Build a test PC with Windows 1803 on it, install all your software to make sure it works and then see what works/doesnt work and then start working out what GPO settings (if any) you might need/like.

Microsoft have now discontinued Office Mix and have actually closed down that part of their website. Microsoft havent gotten rid of it completely, they've put most of the features in to Office 365 but not in to the enterprise versions of their software such as Office Pro Plus 2016. Can you download and install the Office 365 version of office on to a student computer image and deploy it across the student computers? If so, where do you download it from and do the students then have to log in each times and what happens if our internet connection happens to be slow or down?

I've got a Lenovo B50-70 that needs a new Power Board (it says ZIWB3 LS-B094P) on the board and I've found this in the service manual: I can see plenty of second hand ones on the likes of eBay etc. but does anybody have a laptop parts supplier that they use that I could get a new part from as I'd rather get a new one if possible. There is damage to the screen case so I'm deducing that it was dropped/knocked on to the floor whilst the mains lead was plugged in as the power socket on the power board is damaged and so it the case lid (just cosmetic on the lid).

No USB settings in the BIOS what-so-ever (very little in there to be honest). Peculiar thing is, after doing the screenshots of it not working, it suddenly started working and it's now encrypted with a password to unlock it working as it should. Very strange and no idea what was going on just glad it's sorted!

Here's how we encrypt the C: drive of a laptop without a TPM chip: On boot up you then get prompted for a password: This has worked on dozens of laptops for the last few years since we first started encrypting laptops on Windows 8.1 etc. It's just this one laptop that on a reboot you are not prompted for the password as shown in the last image, instead it just loads Windows and when logging on you get the error message in my first post instead.

All the required Group Policies are set as we've been encrypting both TPM laptops and non-TPM laptops (with bootup passwords) for well over a year now. All other laptops without a TPM chip have encrypted fine.

I've got an Acer laptop that does not have a TPM chip in it so I need to set a password on boot up to unlock the drive. After turning on Bitlocker, setting the password and rebooting, the laptop does not ask for a password and just boots up to windows! On logging on I'm then greeted with this message: Isnt the thing that automatically unlocks the drive the TPM chip? This laptop doesnt have one! I've reset the BIOS (issue still occurs), upgraded the BIOS to the latest version (issue still occurs) and re-installed Windows 10 (issue still occurs)! Any ideas what's going on and what I need to do to get this laptop encrypted?

You cant drop your 'cloud' in the street or leave it in your laptop bag that you accidentally left on the train. You can with an unencrypted UBS memory stick and anyone finding it can access it. With regards to the cloud having millions of people potentially hacking in to your account, cloud service providers have dedicated security teams to prevent that, unless you have hired a security guard to stay with your memory stick at all times, you don't have that kind of security with a USB memory stick.

Same here, I've never seen a UK specific download - I just downloaded 1803 from the MVLS the other day and yesterday I created an Image for deployment through SCCM and it's all set as UK.
