Yeah mostly a wait and see right now. We have a few backup options but it really depends on how winter/jan/feb go with corona as to which option we will go with sadly. I did miss us not having this year but when we started to plan for it we had a suspicion things could get worse (as it did) and we didnt want to risk anyone's safety.

I know why, I know why the system sends 510, do you happen to know the IP you could send me in a PM? Or even approx date/times when you tried and I will see why it occurred.

I am looking to set up a Raspberry Pi 4 to run Home Assistant in the house and I was wondering what cases etc people have that are working well for them over the base kit. I have heard murmurs the Pi 4 has some heat issues so I am keen to avoid but I dont want a crazy loud fan as well. Any pointers would be helpful. Thanks

ZeroHour replied to eddyc's topic in EduGeek.net Site Problems
Hi Yeah its linked to the app not handling frontpage news properly and see's those links as thread id's instead of article id's. I have been trying to get a filter to rewrite the url dynamically before its seen by the app but its a bit complex.- 1 reply

Article: Google Meet Roadmap Webinar - Watch on-demand

As a rule I would move your domains to a different registrar from your host. We (EduGeek) use https://www.gandi.net/ for a lot of our domain management as they support 2FA and are a very decent registrar so far although make sure you document about 2FA when you set it up to allow others to gain access. Having the domains separate has no negative and if the host has issues you can easily move off. As for hosting, how hands off do you want it to be? If you are able to ssh and handle the setup yourselves that changes things from a more managed host that does it for you.

Also I have personally found curve to be a bit of a pain to work with. The huge problems I had getting refunds in the past drove me mad, their support has been poor when I have contacted them and they also decided to issue me a commercial card instead of a personal card I thought I was signing up for. When you join it decides what you will get based on your job title and not on any other factor and when I contacted them they tried to charge me £5 to get it changed back. They have also introduced a new £5 charge for a card for new accounts. As to the OP, I thought most major bank issued credit cards work with Apple Pay now.

Just to say both Nvidia and AMD have new gen cards coming August/Sep they think and it will cause the rest of the range to drop in price so it may be worth holding out until then.

I use firefox stable myself and I have not encountered the captcha issue. Can you try running firefox without addons in case one is borking something?

For clients connecting or sending mail after it hits googles servers? Tbh it should be used for both. -

This is useful: https://www.whatsmydns.net/ Although its not ISP based it does show what the big upstream DNS servers in countries can see.
