1. With Windows 11 you can actually sign in to windows with a google account now using web sign in but I cant remember where I saw the steps for doing this.
2. Also are you using local profiles or roaming? If its roaming you have to turn on a GP setting to allow the app store stuff to work.
3. Maybe a dual approach with one of those and a couple of airtags?
4. Signal now allows aliases much like Snapchat but its still not ideal. This is what Vodafone sells but they are trying to do deals with manufacturers now rather than direct: https://eshop.v.vodafone.com/uk/curve-gps-tracker Its on Amazon as well: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vodafone-Tracker-Lightweight-Device-Laptop/dp/B08CRQC6KB The reviews says its £2 a month for 24 months or £3 a month for 12.
5. Airtags and that ilk will alert the kids to the fact they are following them and they now (or soon) have the option to disable the ability to track to prevent stalking. Vodafone used to/still do tags that have a subscription which I think isnt a huge amount per month (£2-£4 I think) if you can find them though. Another option might be to get a child to share their location via iMessage/WhatsApp etc with a school number, yes they can revoke that but you can make it a condition they dont and they usually can be set to auto expire sharing as well.
6. Are they the same models? I have heard 23H2 is still being blocked because of some drivers/software but I cant recall if it was fixed or not.
7. NOTE: Please always include the salary range as per: /forums/educational-jobs/50399-how-use-jobs-forum-please-read-first.html

New Teams

Do you use IPv6? Teams many moons ago used to have all sorts of quirks for me using IPv6. I have the same build as you but haven't had issues with messages today but didn't try a file.
9. Thanks, it could be in Cloud Services but also Enterprise but I think a rename might make it clearer.
10. Hmm I dont use the exact same settings but it did work for me, is this Windows 11 or Windows 10? Which version? I will flatten my VM and see what happens with it.
11. I *think* this should be fixed but we may not know until tomorrow.
12. I have seen it before but it was more for the home and small business use but Unifi ended up getting tasked with that. I did see their controller was very similar to the old Unifi Network app.
13. The new platform has full MFA auth but currently you can only do IP verification right now, toggle on at the bottom of: /profile.php?do=editoptions It will send you an email when you log in on a new ip address.
14. We will be announcing the Pizza over Twitter ( ) but you can also try our brand new WhatsApp announcements channel (your mobile number is NOT shared with us!) https://edugeek.me/to/whatsappupdates as well!
15. I am not sure if you can as its not an account and I dont know if they have added profile support yet to the app store.
16. Looking forward to it! Like I say we find its easiest to announce the Pizza over Twitter ( ) but you can also try our brand new WhatsApp announcements channel (your mobile number is NOT shared with us!) https://edugeek.me/to/whatsappupdates
17. Yes! We are at North Hall NH22 with ICT Direct if you look in the app. Pizza will be announced each day via our twitter at
18. @JJonas You have to have the *tier* that gets a free perk. They have 4 tiers, No Frills (10mb speed limit), Essentials (100mb speed limit), All Rounder (unlimited speed + 1 perk) and Full works (unlimited speed + 3 perks) If you are on All Rounder or Full Works there is a perk which gets you Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and you use the EE app to select that perk and link it to your xbox account. When I signed up for a deal that was £13.50 for 100GB the ad and the person on the phone said multiple times that the contract had no speed limit then when the details arrived a few hours later I was effectively on the Essentials tier so I raised a complaint. They reviewed the call and said he promised no speed limit so they pushed both contracts to All Rounder level (£33 a month approx normally) for the 24 months for the original price along with 125GB instead of 100GB.
19. Updated mine after seeing a few I forgot about here.
20. Does it happen for any other devices? I am just thinking a laptop with wireshark trying to see if DHCP is being issued correctly. What versions are your unifi setup and what is Network running on?
21. I saw this idea on another site and I thought it may be worth seeing what everyone else has and wants to keep or ditch for 2024. Template: 1. Definitely keeping 2. Possibly getting cancelled/occasional renewal 3. Cancelled in 2023 4. New Subscriptions in 2023 ---- 1. Definitely keeping Apple One Amazon Prime Monzo Plus Plex (Lifetime so not a sub as such) Xbox ultimate (get it free with EE) Domain's (several but nearly all through CloudFlare so as cheap a renewal as possible) 2. Possibly getting cancelled/occasional renewal Netflix Emma Pro Gentler Streak Disney+ AA Spotify Discord (on legacy sub) 3. Cancelled in 2023 Amazon Kids+ (it added itself after the year *trial*) 4. New Subscriptions in 2023 Moved to EE x2 (Got a hell of a deal after the person over promised on speed, £13.50 for 125GB x2 with a free perk on each contract unlimited speed for 2 years) Sky Stream (I got a deal where it was cheaper to get Sky TV + Netflix + 900mb BB then just having netflix + 900mb) There will no doubt be others I am forgetting about but thats part of why this thread can be useful.
22. I really have to say I liked him as an actor as well.
