    Apple TV

What AP's do you have and are they VLAN'ed? Also what model of AppleTV?
  3. Just to say I have noticed some weird roaming choices with the latest firmware 6.6.77/6.6.78 (depending on AP model) I have not investigated it fully yet but I rolled back to .73 in the interim.
  4. Really in my experience Auto doesnt work well. The same thing applies with AP's being set on Auto power as well, if they are fairly close you will need to tune them to get things a bit smoother. Apple does have a bit of info about how and when they decide to roam based on signal strength: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/deployment/dep98f116c0f/web It may not be apple devices disconnecting but its a place to start for tuning.
  5. To be honest I would look at migrating the DNS role to Cloudflare or another larger provider. You can keep the registration with 123-reg if you want (although CF is cheaper) but just move the dns role and records across as it will be much faster updating.
  6. Happy Birthday Dave!
  7. What filtering do you have? Is it inspecting SSL?
  8. Thanks, I tweaked some of the rules so it should hopefully happen less now. Let me know if it happens again.
  9. I too have had weird issues with Vlans in the past but I cant remember how I resolved them.
  10. Thanks for reporting this, is this happen when browsing or posting?
  11. Are you 100% sure your tagging is correct in Network? I am wondering if the port plugged into the Smoothwall doesnt have Allow all tags set.
  12. Yeah it appears the batch emailing server had a blip so its working through the backlog now.
  13. Do other browsers work? What proxy/windows version/av do you have?
  14. I thought they can be a sensitive to SFP used with some not working properly at all, are they different SFP modules?
  15. I hadnt seen the kits (my old car probably had a small leak) and I would have been dubious but the reviews on Amazon are better than I thought it would have been. I would see if you can dig out any YT videos of common issues on your car, it could be a simple fix.
  16. If ($something=="thing") { $menu = "this bit of string" . " this other bit of string"; } . joins strings in PHP. You can even shortcut it with: $menu = "this bit of string"; $menu .= " this other bit of string"; Output: this bit of string this other bit of string
  17. I have not used Amazon, so following, but I too like the dynamic playlists spotify has. Apple music isnt bad as well (kids have that) and it does have lossless at least.
  18. BT did do DIG (armoured dug in ground) cables as many on my street were but they stopped around the early 90's I *think*
  19. Out of interest what does the openreach (https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL) say. It may say under the table it may have the text "Our records show the following FTTP network service information for these premises:" which can indicate if you are DIG (which means armoured cable) or ducted if FTTP from OR is available. If your drive is ducted to the street then they could potentially pull a fibre up to your address without issue. When was the house built?
  20. Its really weird, the last time I had a support issue i got a call back in an hour but that would have probably been a year and a half ago although it was to do with removing licenses.
  21. I have reset our cache buster and cleared some server side caches. Any better now?
  22. This is the way. There are quite a few options but Nginx is good, there is also a project for the task although I have not used it personally. https://github.com/NginxProxyManager
  23. Any other things missing like images? A lot of this stuff is loaded from awscdn.cdngeek.com like JS and that.
  24. I will take a look soon. Google did change some policies so I will have to check if I need to agree to some bits.
  25. I use things like: https://onlinephp.io/ for a quick test as well. (Hopefully the block should be fixed now)
