Here's a report I've just pulled off my Bloxx box

I got my new car in March. It has just hit 800 miles.

The report he's pulled looks as though it is only recording access through proxy 3. To be honest it looks genuine to me - I have reports generated on a schedule, and so look at them daily, and although I would never pull a report like that (it doesn't record unclassified access, which is what I'm interested in) it is how an empty report would look.

It can be argued that it is a necessity of your job to bypass the filter - how else can you check whether a site can be unblocked? It is unlikely that bypassing the web filter will bring the network down. Check the settings of the group you are in within bloxx - it could well be set to bypass filtering, or not to log.

I don't but my husband has a karaoke rig. Thankfully he also has a weekly gig, so can store the kit at the venue. We have a brick built outhouse he stores all the spares in (apparently it's impossible to run properly without having a spare amp, lights, speakers and mixing desk)

We use locked down users in an "Exam" Security Group. They get a very limited Start menu (Wordpad or any specific Exam software required). That Security Group is denied access to any shared areas and is Internet banned. That way they can use machines loaded for day to day use, but not access anything they shouldn't. Students don't know the password, the machines are logged on by the invigilator if there are only one or two using computers, or by one of the IT team if there are a few of them.

Thank you @Sam_Brown. I've shelved bitlocker for the moment - we can run bitlocker manually at deployment if necessary. Once I've finished the rest of my list of jobs I'll revisit it, and certainly take a look at your suggestion. I've also looked at MDOP and MBAM (I'm sure they're on the Flintstones!) and we might try using that to manage bitlocker. I have a little time to sort this out.

Turning off CC4 and moving to our new Vanilla network I've been preparing since Easter. We'll need to reimage 1500 computers, as well as moving all services across to the new domain, all the while ensuring the office staff can continue working.

I don't think so - it was explained to me that the line was to fix an error in SIMS. The script was prepared by our LEA Support.

Ours has user name and password. yes.

We run a similar script, and the backup ends up in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.SQL2012\MSSQL\Backup

Confirm with the LEA whether you are expected to install SQL. IF you are, ask them for a guide - that's what you're paying them for.

I am so looking forward to the Summer "holidays" when we get rid of RM and move over to our new domain. It's been hard work setting it up, and I'm asking questions here daily, but as every support call I've had with RM over the last 2-3 years has been to do with one RM component or another, I don't think I'll miss much.

if you're using 64bit clients, the profile in the RMMC isn't the one that's used. The system creates a .v2 profile and uses that.

Just run a quick test on my CC4 network, and can confirm that the space taken by the profile is included in the used space reported by RMMC

Profile? They are stored on the same drive, so disk quota management will see both home folder and profile.
