  1. It's running here - after initially telling the students to install the already installed extension - refreshing the page fixed that. I hope the exam is easier than getting it to run!
  2. I know when my Mother-in-law had problems with nuisance calls BT intercepted her calls for a time, and only put through legitimate calls. Do Virgin offer such a service?
  3. Can I jump on this - I can't run a workstation test either.
  4. I've tried that script, but I still get "The application was not detected after installation completed". I an looking in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v3.5 for the value Install, which isn't present.
  5. I have created an application in SCCM to install .net 3 to my Windows 10 1909 machines. I've extracted the cab from the install disk, and used dism /online /add-package /packagepath:microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package.cab to push the install. Event Viewer on the clients say it has installed. However, I have the detection method in the package looking at the registry to show the install, and it's failing - the registry entry isn't there. What's happening?
  6. Eliminate the switch - take a machine that can image to a room that can't, and vice versa.
  7. I found out where I was going wrong - for anyone else getting bogged down with Power Automate. Rule one - make sure that you are using the correct trigger - when an item is modified or created, not when an item is created.
  8. I'm trying to set a trigger, so that when a box is ticked on a form, an email is generated. I am using the trigger @equals(triggerBody()?['Coveryes'],true). I'm testing that variable using the technique here: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Community-Blog/Power-Automate-Trigger-Conditions-made-EASY/ba-p/441348 However, when I test the flow, the output tells me that Coveryes equals true, but the variable test is false. Where am I going wrong?
  9. I've had parents deny the instructions even exist.
  10. Tried this too - still no joy - I think Microsoft have split Cortana and search.
  11. I can disable the right click on the start menu - that's a simple GPO in W10 1909, but this is when I search from the start menu - so if I click on Start, and type notepad, for example, I get the options in my image, including open file location. I'd rather students not be able to browse the C drive - they can't break anything, but it's a distraction.
  12. I had found and tried that - no joy, I'm afraid.
  13. Because, despite what your opinion of it is, I don't want it in my schools. You may do as you wish in your establishment, but your habit of calling out everyone who doesn't do things exactly the same way you do is grating, to say the least.
  14. OK, how do I get rid of "Open File Location" when searching for an app on the Start menu I'd like to keep the search, if at all possible, but I'm happy to get rid of it. Disabling access to the C drive breaks One Drive Files on Demand, so I don't really want to do that.
  15. Thank you. I think that is the way we are going to go.
  16. Anyone - what I'm finding on line tells me it's not possible, so what is the best thing to do?
  17. So, what's the best way to set this up? We have a single MAT 365 tenancy, (mat.sharepoint.com) and we would like a separate sharepoint site for each school, ideally school1.mat.sharepoint.com, school2.mat.sharepoint.com, etc. Is this do-able?
  18. I have to ask - what's a Quigley based curriculum? I'll leave it to you to guess what the Q stands for in my username...
  19. I used to run a pub in the East End of London. Our regulars included Charlie Kray, and most of his "minders", Lenny Peters (of Peters and Lee fame) and Stanley Baxter.

Thank you, I'll remove those updates out of hours (whatever hours are these days)

    RDS error 0x204

Yes we do. Should I uninstall those updates, or is there a work round?

    RDS error 0x204

One of our teachers is attempting to remote onto our school system using Microsoft Remote Desktop. He gets error 0x204. Any ideas how I can help him?
  24. When deploying the task sequence, set it to required not available. Only deploy it to that particular machine (create a device group containing only it). As long as you don't have a password on your TS it will run the next time your computer is started, so use whatever your remote WOL software of preference is and restart the machine.
  25. He was granted more regenerations by Time Lords who didn't know he was the Timeless Child. They had no idea he would regenerate anyway.
