We buy Dell via a Gold Reseller, AMC, so if you're struggling with Dell direct might be worth a try. Usually get quotes pretty quickly. https://amcit.com/

Just moved over to DSM Group. Great experience so far with sales and support for the setup and pricing is very competative. https://www.dsm-gb.co.uk/

Agreed but if you're running software on an unsupported platform, and it's widely advertised that it's currently unsupported, then they have to draw the line somewhere. That then leads me to wonder why such business critical software is being ran on a database version that isn't supported by the vendor...

Do you have access to the RM Support Site? It's probably confirmed on there.

Who looks after .sch.uk domains?
Edu-IT replied to IT_Man_Dan's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Krystal can handle .sch.uk domains and will do the DNS for free. We’ve a number of schools transferred to them via Nominet. -
Sorry I had the sound on mute.

Looking on the video at all the contractors, and based on the tender document, I think it's likely that the roof works are involved. Shame for the school who have just not long opened after lockdown.

You must have got some discount as on their G Cloud pricing Arbor comes in less. Arbor £14k Bromcon £14.5k That's before Migration & Training which is where I think Bromcom creeps up from what I can see on the PDF.

Video here showing the blaze.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/uknews/14419281/major-fire-breaks-out-at-school-explosion/ Is this anyone on here? Hopefully nobody is injured. Edit: Looks like they're having works on the roof?

Give these a shout - moving to them now as current provider is stopping their service. Found them great so far. https://www.dsm-gb.co.uk/cloud-backup/

That’s interesting as on the public G Cloud pricing Bromcom is much more expensive due to their setup costs.

The survey linked to from the image top right on the EduGeek homepage has an extra f at the end, so doesn't work. https://survey.zohopublic.com/zs/YHBUTaf instead of https://survey.zohopublic.com/zs/YHBUTa

Not free but MigrationWiz can do it. Education pricing is a couple of pound per mailbox.

We also use this and can recommend it.

This implies you do need a Pro licence? http://support.bromcom.com/UploadedFiles/Other/PowerBI_Installation_Bromcom_MAT_Vision_Analytics.pdf

Same for this one. https://www.castlerocksch.uk/ If you watch the big video on the homepage? Then look at this? https://www.castlerocksch.uk/school-facilities-lettings/ Makes me wonder if some of these schools have already been rebuilt as it says on that one 'In 2006 we moved from our previous site on Warren Hills Road to a brand new purpose-built school on Meadow Lane'?

Do your SLT dictate when you go to the bathroom too?! I think in this instance, it's either fix an issue that will at some point cause you even more headaches, inject some cash into the product or make do. O365 isn't designed to work in the complicated way your SLT have enforced upon you, for whatever reasons.
