Whilst I realise that there are always around this, I'm assuming that there are ways to reduce the ease with which this can be done.
My Developer has nearly completed an application ( Desktop & Mobile) which will host many short videos I have created ( the majority of which are yet to be uploaded ).
I have quickly noticed just by opening the demo version on my phone (Samsung S21) that the selection of videos are easily 'Saved to Phone' via the Samsung Browser.
It is soon to be migrated from the demo to a Digital Ocean server ( which they have confirmed do not offer any such file download protection).
My IT background is very limited. They have told me that it is PHP, HTML code on a Linux server.
From the outset, I have emphasised that I would ask them to build in such a way that it is not easy to download the content en masse ( There are many short clips)
My Question:
Is there any advice / protocol that you can give me which I can pass onto them? i.e. something they can build into the Application that would not allow ( or easily allow) such a feature to save to a device?
Thank you kindly in advance
