Dunno about that they seem to cover lot's of unrelated stuff these days like is it really possibly to flip a car like in the movies, well yes it is if you use the movie techniques which they know anyway. Ben

I would separate the print server to be it's own device just so if you have any driver issues etc.... you can work on it separately. Ben

You are only distributing the root CA certificate from the PKI however the web proxy devices will be generating certificates on the fly as intermediate CA's for each and every SSL website visited thus as the number of users and numbers of SSL websites increases then load on these devices will also increase. Just something to stick in the back of your minds Ben

Yes when you organise a party it's a pain when people who say they will come don't and even worse if they don't even contact you but at the end of the day it was the parents of the birthday child who decided to arrange this at a venue that cost them money like this so to try and charge the parents for non attendance is daft. The venue has announced that this was nothing to do to with them even though the parent put their address on the invoice and they've said this is fraudulent, lol The venue also said they would have offered bar credit or additional rides to the parent so they wouldn't have really lost out. That statement in itself is ridiculous, if you can tell someone's real age with such reliability then good for you but saying you're alarmed by "this attitude" when someone post a counter statement is also ridiculous. -

Indeed this is pac files come in to use as these can be used to apply a proxy if in school or not when at home or if filtered and logged access is required at all times then cloud based or hybrid filtering solutions can be used to good effect. Ben -

Not in a pre windows 2012 setup where you setup a split scope dhcp server. If the 80% server fails over pre 2012 the 20% server can only allocate the addresses in it's pool and it knows nothing about the machines that already have leases. 2012 offers dhcp in load sharing or hot standby, in load sharing you can specify the amount of load to share but if 50/50 is picked then each server simultaneously offers an ip address, hot standby mode works are you'd expect. If you want to do full colour print on both sides with the linked to printer the ribbon is £40.00 for 200 images i.e 100 cards so it's even more. 40p + card cost. If you're paying 40p per card outsourced that's very very good so I'd be surprised at that. Ben

But this thread was mainly asking about using Ipads but other than that it doesn't particularly matter and as I've moved this thread once I'm not moving it again. Ben
