We use Stone chassis/pc-monitor-combo-stand-thing that have a rigid IO cover (not the one linked, probably an older model) They're pretty damn sturdy and the cages are solid. Plus (at least the ones we have) have cable troughs for VGA/DVI and monitor power. If you're rather thin-fingered you can get your fingers up into the hole that you feed all the wires out from and unplug the power cable from the PSU, but that's only happened a couple of times. They all come with a security-bit type screw, the hex key with the hole/prong in the middle, I have no idea what they're called, but that's stopped kids getting into them. Obviously this doesn't work if you're buying AIO units

There's been a few.. Problem students recently with inappropriate files. I've come to the conclusion that they're coming in on memory sticks. I've created a new policy, headed to User Configuration/Policies/Administrative Templates/System/Removable Storage Access and enabled All Removable Storage classes: Deny all access Is it working? Nah, that'd be too easy! So, just to cover my bases, I've also enabled: CD and DVD: Deny read access CD and DVD: Deny write access Floppy Drives: Deny read access Floppy Drives: Deny write access Removable Disks: Deny read access Removable Disks: Deny write access Tap Drives: Deny read access Tape Drives: Deny write access WPD Devices: Deny read access WPD Devices: Deny write access Every bit of information online says that these are the right policies to enable Still not working. I've looked through the other policies, there's no contesting policies. I've even set the policy to enforced, just to be safe. Still doesn't work.

Noice and noice! I remember reading somewhere that all the backgrounds and stuff in 8 were uuuber HQ but there's only a few surviving backdrops, most of the originals were lost/deleted after compression/etc.

[insert Gara's typical rant about how 8 was better than 7] Nah, I'll admit, even as someone who didn't really like 7 all that much, the remake looks hella interesting. If it weren't playstation exclusive I'd probably pick it up when it eventually went on sale.

High-quality, perpetually-licensed, DRM-free teaching resources that we could keep locally on our network, especially regarding PSHE, religion or otherwise such 'sensitive topics'. I can't tell you how many times resources being used for lessons have ended up in YouTube's restricted mode and I've been fielding the flak for it.

To be fair I'll give it its credit, Tizen has a really good interface and the bezel is actually a really good way of navigating the watch without smearing your screen with oily prints by swiping.. Buuuut I still wouldn't recommend it I really wish I could, because it does its job and it does its job well, but thanks to the lack of apps and faces, you're paying the same amount of money for a Wear OS one that can do so much more (minus the bezel) It's just little things like not being able to use Google Maps on it. It's a glorified 'you got his notification on your phone' device and I just can't justify the price for it. Though, to be fair, their newer ones might be better. the Gear S2 is a wee bit on the outdated side by now. They've come out with I think two(?) new watched since, and they might have gotten better. Huh, TIL.

Because Tizen Tizen is Samsung's proprietary operating system and it has next to no support. Barely anybody is developing for it because they're all developing for the iWatch and Wear OS. There's just a lot of little things that add up that if I'd have known before buying, I'd have probably gone with something else that was android-based.

Samsung Gear S2 Classic. Fantastic watch. Great build quality. Good battery life, nice clear screen, actually looks like a timepiece (not a fan of square/rounded square smartwatches) But I wouldn't recommend it. Tizen

We had a document single-line spaced, and then suddenly changed to double-spacing. If you highlighted the text and changed it 'back' via the formatting bar, it went back fine. No idea if it was a bug, a keybind accidentally triggered, or if the kid manually changed it to be awkward. Wasn't in the exam when it happened.

I think the main question is "Check the wi-fi logs.. How many hits did you have to, er, a certain website that got mentioned?"

I probably shouldn't win as my pc already has a normal SSD in it, but I've actually never had an NVMe drive and I'd be curious to see if the difference is noticeable

That one doesn't show in my AppLocker list? I assume I need the latest admx files, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

How're you mapping them? We use the Profile tab of the user to Connect $Letter to $Path and that's mapping fine. Issues here is that the start menu won't open at all (even for a user who no profile location set in AD) Not sure if it's a start menu redirection thing or... (also Edge is pinned to the taskbar, but I assume that's just a reg key tweak to fix)
