lol na this is for work use only and paid for by work just spent over a grand building my home PC which was my christmas present to my self.

It came with xp home, so Im putting xp profesional on. 160gb hdd 1gb ram 8.5" screen wifi b/g 1.6ghz atom nice pice of kit and lite. Will be using it for setting up devices on the network etc. Just going through my head what else I could use it for. what does everyone else use theirs for?

not when you do a mini sysprep, it removes all SIDs including machine name. so during windows setup it always asks for us to input machine name. everything else is done for us

I've been putting off deploying flash player 10 for some time now, But I've had a request from the maths department asking me to update the flash ( I'm thinking about depolying it through out the school this afternoon, But I need to know two things. where do I download 'Flash Player 10.msi' from? Is the anything special I need to do before I deploy the update? i.e. remove the old version etc? if so how do I do that through gpo with out having to run round hundreds of machines. 10 laptops per AP. I wouldn't add any more. I have 3 AP in each wireless hotspots around the school to support our mobile class room of 30 laptops.

We've just updated all out boardworks packages and they come VLE compliant. Stockton council has SCORM enabled, but you have to enable it yourself on the admin side of things. Has anyone done this and can help me please? thank you Kev

true. but our school for example dosent allow me to phone premium lines thus an alternative land line gets you around that
