Do the DNS server settings in Smoothwall refer to the ISA server IP address?

It's easy enough to do in The GIMP as well: Make a new Path. Use the Paths Tool and click/click+drag to make points. Ctrl+click to complete the path. Then convert to selection as desired.

For the best results you can't beat doing it manually in Photoshop. It's not something that can be done well using an automated process.

My complete guess is that they probably have more lucrative deals with their own semi-exclusive popular phones - the ones with all the TV marketing etc; such as the iPhone, HTCs and LGs. But whenever you get one, 6-12 months down the line another comparable handset will be released anyway - that's just technology

The Motorola Droid looks good. It's available on a £35/month contract for £49.99, or £499.99 on its own, exclusively at Expansys. In the new year, finance permitting, I'm looking at moving to an Android-based phone. I like the G2, but will keep an eye on the market nearer the time

All the additional time and hassle of writing scripts and creating GPOs and messing with ADM templates and buying a mish-mash of third-party software and trying to get WDS to work to run a vanilla network? Glad we're going CC4!

The data you're streaming over the network also has to reside somewhere, a disk presumably - so there's somewhere else to add in a performance measure.

Yeah, we still have many sites under Apache using virtual hosts on the same box as Nginx, but also 2-3 different sites on other boxes. Here's how it's currently set up: Nginx and Apache run on the same box (bbs-web-002). Nginx runs on port 8080, and only serves the outside world. Port 80 via external IP is forwarded to port 8080 (Nginx) on bbs-web-002. Using hostnames, Nginx proxies the requests to the appropriate place, set ip each server { ... } directive. Bbs-web-002 (and the rest of the LAN) always resolves the internal IP equivalent of all external-facing sites. Internal IP examples: bbs-web-002: 192.168.0.11 mail.bishopbarrington.net: 192.168.0.13 http://www.bishopbarrington.net: 192.168.0.11 (runs on bbs-web-002) What exactly do you want Nginx to do at your end and for which hostnames? EDIT Just seen your updated post - no problem

We use nginx. One domain is: server { listen 8080; server_name mail.bishopbarrington.net; include /etc/nginx/httperr.conf; location / { proxy_pass http://mail.bishopbarrington.net:80/; proxy_set_header Host $host; proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $remote_addr; proxy_set_header X-Originating-IP $remote_addr; proxy_set_header HTTP_REMOTE_ADDR $remote_addr; proxy_set_header REMOTE_ADDR $remote_addr; } } You can safely ignore the include line - it just sets up custom error pages for the site. You can also pick and choose which proxy_set_header entries you want. Just add more server{ ... } entries for each site you have.

I think it's this one: Windows key + Pause/Break. Advanced tab. Settings button in the Performance box. Make sure 'Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop' is ticked.

Our previous office was also the server room. We didn't dare bring up the noise as a H&S issue as the preferred and cheapest solution would have been for us to wear ear protectors.

Something like this should work if you're using mod_rewrite. RewriteBase /2/ RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.accringtonstmarymagdalens.co.uk/ [R=permanent,L] -
Yes that's right, unless you add a field asking for their name (or other identifier). But without some scripting magic, I don't think you get that by default in Access/Excel either.

Use Google Docs to set up a form, should do what you need. Like this.

Don't know, but as far as I know we haven't been asked to produce ours. They'd be out of luck with me anyway as I don't have a passport.
