Terminator Genisys. I thought it was OK but not as good as Terminator Salvation. It completely messes up the time line of the series. Of course, it could be an alternative time line in the a similar manner to the Sarah Connor Chronicles. The main problem with it is the complete miscasting of Emilia Clarke; she couldn't handle the recoil from a water pistol let alone the various weapons. Also, she's not much of an actress.

Dudley Council have planted castor oil plants (ricinus communis), in the flower boxes near the entrance to the Stourbridge Bus Station. To quote wiki "Ricinus is extremely allergenic, and has an OPALS allergy scale rating of 10 out of 10. The plant is also a very strong trigger for asthma, and allergies to Ricinus are commonplace and severe." Just what you need in a public place. The seeds are also highly toxic if eaten. My sister and I used to play with the seeds when were children, but we were sensible enough not to put them in our mouths. I doubt that many people even know what the plant is and would probably try the seeds if there were some. The council's reaction? The bus station is operated by Centro, so talk to them. Centro's reaction? The flower boxes belong to Dudley Council, so talk to them.

I use Wilko window cleaner and a J Cloth. Very cheap and works extremely well. Any brand of window cleaner will do, but Wilko's is local to us. Works great on your iPad too!

Well I certainly not. My PC at home is 7 years old and although I am thinking about upgrading it, it will probably be a couple of years before I do. As to my mobile devices, I have a ASUS Netbook which is 5 years old (£50 from my the boss at my last school, who bought it and didn't like it), and I haven't had a mobile phone in well over a decade and I very much doubt I'll ever have another. Most of my stuff is decades old. A large chuck of my HiFi dates from 1975, with the newest bit 2002. My three SLRs are 1952, 1979 and 1999 although I do have a happy snappy digital camera which is about 4 years old. I only use that to stick up photos of stuff on ebay. My sock knitting machine is over 100 years old and works brilliantly. I saw one not as good as mine go on ebay yesterday, for £680.

When I used it 7 years ago, not directly but we just exported a csv from CMIS and imported that. I assume this is still the same.

+1 Koha. We used it at a previous school and found the community very helpful on the rare occasions we needed help. The only real hurdle was the LEA who wouldn't let Z39.50 through the firewall, largely I think because they didn't know what it was. An ADSL line soon fixed that. We use Heritage where I am now. The support seems OK in that they are quick to respond, but I know there have been problems with student registrations that took a long time to resolve. It might be that Biostore and Heritage don't speak the same language.

For my 18th birthday (1975), my folks bought me one of these Novus 1970's classic gold LED watch - The Retro World and I thought I was the business! Actually I had two. They both quickly developed a fault - when you pushed the button to tell the time, it would stick and the battery would go flat. So it was replaced with a gold Citizen with hands and a date. Sadly it hasn't worked for a long time and it can't be repaired

The DOD is the worlds largest employer and I suspect many other departments other than the navy still have XP. Being big has an advantage; they can pay for Microsoft to keep the XP development team going. Unfortunately, the patches developed won't be released to the world. The NHS could certainly use them as I think they still have 75% of their machines running XP.
