Folks I'm never ever, ever, EVER going to make a decision like that, it would always be pushed into the laps of my clients. I simply wanted to know what other schools had in place for quota limits.

What have others got as a realistic print limit for staff members? Carte blanche rights or specific print limits?

Thanks chap, much appreciated

Is there any facility in papercut to prevent users from repeatedly clicking print, print, print?!?! Thanks

I had to have a giggle at response posted to a similar thread elsewhere, where the person suggested emailing from the Office 365 account to a Google Apps account, job done!

Why oh why oh why oh why did Microsoft remove this from the Exchange 2013 refresh.

Someone should send them an email telling them the grass needs cutting.

Not heard of that company.

Excellent, thanks for the info -
It's also worth pointing out that Office365 Microsoft technical support is fantastic, I logged a call during a weekend evening and got a call back within an hour.

Office365 - OneDrive for Business - Outlook Attachement
Mr_Jiminy replied to Mr_Jiminy's topic in Cloud Services
Possibly answered my own question with this one: Office 365 To Get E-Mail Improvements this Year -- Redmond Channel Partner The forthcoming collaboration improvements to Outlook Web App are mostly concerned with file handling and coauthoring in conjunction with the use of OneDrive for Business, which is Microsoft cloud-based storage service for organizations offered through Office 365 plans. Microsoft also has a premises-based Office Web Apps Server storage system, but it's unclear if the new improvements will apply there. Organizations will be able to share files two ways, via a link or an attachment, when using Outlook Web App with OneDrive for Business, according to Microsoft: •When you send an attachment from your computer or device you can now automatically upload the file to your OneDrive cloud drive and send it as a link. •You can also easily attach a file directly from your OneDrive cloud drive when sending an email in Outlook Web App -
Can you... Using OWA, send a new mail and attach a file from within OneDrive for Business? It can be done with ease using Google Apps, however I'm struggling to find this function in Office365.

Thanks Michael. Currently got several sites set-up in this light, without the follow me printing aspect. My only concern with this is how staff will cope with the printers being moved out of class, into a student restricted area... They'll probably not cope at first, then eventually learn to cope... It's also likely they'll follow me with pitch forks!!!

Folks, I need advice re improving the printing in a special (behavioural) school environment. As it stands the school has seven colour laser printers in each of the classrooms. The school works on a limited user base of approximately 57 students, plus 20 staff. As it stands the printers are sitting ducks, day in and day out subject to abuse ranging from heavy; sensors being ripped out, to simply removing the toners to make lovely coloured patters across the classroom. My suggestion has been to move towards a central print solution, consolidating the seven printers down to two central 'student' colour laser, as well as a photocopier to accommodate the staff. My only concern is that students won't have a printer in the class, which could and likely will result in them hitting print lots of times. I know this can be controlled through various print management software, however I'm just not sure if the proposed solution is the right direction, especially given it being behavioural school. Can anyone advise on or relate to this matter?

Have you set this up Michael?

Indeed.

James in order to carry this out does the Office 365 setup need to be integrated with AD? Or can this be carried out with purely a Office 365 cloud managed setup?

Thanks James

O365 Message Encryption - Office.com Can anyone shed any light on how this can be set-up to work alongside user accounts with Office 365 Plan A2? I keep getting this message when I attempt to try the Windows Azure Rights Management: Azure Rights Management cannot be added to your account together with plans you already have.
