I beleve Twitter removed the sms alerts feature, though there may be other ways round that problem.

What do you use for monitoring? I have just ended up linking a bluetooth mobile with PAYG sim in it to our nagios box. Not that cheap, but very reliable.

Got lots of it here to. We had to cancel our school openday yesterday as access was so bad. Now just trying to get everything back up from a powercut overnight. One of the joys of a rural area, lots of hills and overhead power cables.

You could even just link the Ruckus controller to AD and ignore radius for now. More info needed I suggest. There are lots of Ruckus Experts about on here.

Implement radius to do what? Wireless access, mac address filtering.... There will be someone on here who has done what you are thinking, but you need to fill in the details.

We could lock him in a Thai restaurant each night..... -
Hmm We Will rock you..... If your feeling brave Screenmonkey is really good for triggering video effects, couple of old laptops and projectors, and some good creative graphics/video loops may save the need for lots of R & R lighting rigging. I do have a 50M extention drum for those connectors but sadly you seem a bit far away for it to be of any use!

I don`t KNOW this, but isn`t a wildcard cert designed for the situation of *.domain.tld I suspect that the internal domain name could be an issue. Can you proxy the vle content on the TMG box and therefore use an external SSL dns name? You could then if needed use a self signed ssl cert for internal clients.

Is this a suggestion for edugeek travel mugs then.......

Like most things in a school, extreme care is required. Personally, I avoid lesson change, and make sure drink is not direct from kettle. If you think about it, holding the cup near you, and using the other arm to "defend" means its more likely to spill on you not them! The lided container idea is also a very good one.

That sounds like some form of port isolation mode, like you would use on public wireless or hotel ethernet? What sort of switches are they?
-
The USB video cards do work, I wouldnt want to play lots of video games over them, but if your looking at more display space for web browsers etc not a problem.

HP swapped the screen under warrenty, problem solved.
-
Registered the three year on site for it, and will be calling hp tomorrow I think. Really can't think of any thing else.

We have just had a 3 week old HP probook returned to us as the display is both upside down and flipped! We have reset the rotation settings, but the panel on the laptop is still reversed 180 degrees (like a projector set for back projection!). It does this in bios as well as windows, and reseting the BIOS to defaults has not fixed it. External displays are fine! Any suggestions (other than throwing it through the window?)

Whats gone up with the server? Would you be able to boot the drive into windows in other hardware?
-
Not sure how AD would respond to the SID of a machine just changing. How many servers are affected? Could you transfer all the roles to other DCs and demote the two affected ones? These aren`t virtual servers by any chance are they.

CMIS Export of room data into format for room booking system
robk replied to ranj's topic in MIS Systems
My sql for this is Note the setid is on each table. If you don`t do that you will end up with one to many links as cmis reuses groupIDs etc. Hope this helps.
