Promising news, though, we'll get a few bonus songs for the radio on PC (162 in total) GTA 5 PC's expanded soundtrack revealed - PC Gamer And on top of that, we're FINALLY going to be getting online heists, the lack of which made me give up on the PS3 version a long time ago.. The only question is Gamepad or Mouse and Keyboard..

IGMP snooping is enabled across the board, but we're not using the multicast, each machine is taking a unicast stream from the server. I let the machines finish their 4 hour image and they've booted into windows with no NIC driver installed, the drivers on this WDS server are near identical to our old one, which has no problem imaging the entire room in just under an hour. At this point i'm convinced this is a driver issue with the new WinPE image (which i'm pretty sure is Win8.1 based) so i've added the latest chipset and NIC drivers to the boot image, but i'm still getting the same issue, i've even gone so far as to completely remove every other driver in the image and leave only the latest drivers for that particular model in the image, but it still persists in the same behaviour. I'm now firmly convinced this is some kind of driver issue, possibly even BIOS related, but I can't quite put my finger on what exactly is the cause.

Hi folks, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas, because i'm stumped as to find a reason why our new WDS server is operating slower than it's older counterpart. As part of our migration to Server 2012 R2, i've built a new WDS server from scratch using MDT 2012, and after a few struggles it now connect, the boot image applies and it can pull down images nicely to a client. However, as we don't use multicast due to a few problems with implementation we tend to do unicast deployments to a single room at a time. When I came to test this on one of our rooms we found that it was taking 3-4x longer for the whole room than with our older 2008 R2 server. Network traffic appears nearly identical, if not faster than the older server, although i'm not sure if this is just the transfer of the boot image (which is much quicker, despite being a larger image). I've tweaked the settings as far as I can to make them identical to the old server, it's built on the same structure in terms of it's VM and i'm at a loss to explain why it is pulling down drivers and images so slowly. Could this be a result of poor drivers not being installed? I've not added any new drivers to the boot image, so could it be that the older Win7 drivers are causing the slowdown? I assume that the boot image is using a Win8/8.1 architecture as opposed to the Vista boot image of our old server, but as it was able to PXE boot, I thought nothing more of it. My only other thought is that I used an older version of the MDT, but I don't see how this would make any difference. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, my google-fu has failed me, and the only results I can find are multicast related. Thanks, Alex

TextHelp's Read and Write is something we've invested in recently, and i've seen it outside of work as well. Works in centrally 'managed' or 'unmanaged' modes. It's got a lot of nifty functionality, but is mostly used as a screen/document reader here.

I don't understand why they haven't just gone for the Command red, Engineering yellow and Science blue.

Apologies for dragging up an old thread, but we've recently grabbed one of these devices for a very reasonable price, but am really struggling to get it to boot from a USB stick in order to put a new OS on it. How did you manage to get 8.1 Enterprise onto it? I can't get the machine to see any USB stick i've created for it, either with the Windows USB/DVD Tool or with Rufus, it never shows up in the BIOS in order to boot from. I've taken a backup of the drive and it'll nicely boot from that, but otherwise it won't boot from anything.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'm a little out of touch with the current generation cards, but the last two i've had were both mid to high end AMD cards and they are both still going strong. I bought a HD5850 reference card when they were ~6 months old, and it was a very reasonable purchase, never struggled with anything I threw at it and is still rocking along in a mate's rig. My current card is a HD7950 which I bought about a month after release and was the last major upgrade my machine has had, aside from being a little noisy if you OC it, it's never caused me any problems, drivers have always been stable for me, but I do feel like an exception in that case. In my opinion, the AMD cards are a very viable budget option and are capable of very good bang for buck. Nvidia are the luxury peace-of-mind option, if you can afford it, it's probably the way to go. On a seperate note, however, Battlefield 4 has just announced the Frostbite engine now supports the new AMD 'Mantle' technology, and makes for quite an interesting read in terms of it's performance boosts. I'm tempted, apart from the cost on Steam, i'm starting to dislike the current trend of paying to beta test a game.. It is however cheaper to purchase from the official site, and you still get a steam key 7 Days to Die | The Survival Horde Crafting Game ($27.95 which works out around £18.25)

Saw it yesterday, and loved every minute of it. It was definitely long, but it didn't feel TOO long for me, as the story was very well paced and the action scenes were outstanding. [pedant]I do wish they could have been consistent with the pronunciation of 'Tauriel' though. [/pedant]
