You can use other SBC's than the list, but they are unsupported, for instance asterisk can be used. there are some guides on the net to do this, which I have tried, but I couldn't get it to register. Cert issues I think, having to have the perfect supported cert!

We found it was not a very good way to contact external people, as it was not instant add, and was generally a kludge to get it working. We just issue a meeting request to the other person from SfB either in Outlook or the Scheduler and then get them in on the web version. Same in these Teams days.

Our settings are exactly like yours, but we have Max encryption in the drop down and automatic for VPN type, not sure that makes a difference! We found the docs extremely confusing tbh, and went with user rather than machine, but we are probably going 2FA on our firewalls eventually. Oh and make sure your servers can resolve the internal address of the NPS server you have in the boxes, not sure if the client needs to as well.

We tried this in the early days, and found if you invited someone in normal skype, it would take hours to days for the request to turn up on the other side, just wasn't worth it! I rue the day they gave both version the same name, I still have to mansplain the difference to people. Hopefully Teams replacing SkypeFB will sort this forever...

Good afternoon all, We are looking into deploying Office 2019 ProPlus to our computers, and while we have the click to run deployment running perfectly over SCCM, on first run by an end user they are presented with a "Log into Office 365" dialog, can this be stopped or anyone know what particular facet of the install is causing this? We are on-prem AD based with Exchange, so no need for the O365 integration. We do have a hybrid, but no one has a mailbox in the cloud. Thank in advance, James

Afternoon all, We want a few to 5 of copies of Visio, and RM have come back with £5 ish FTE, but we don't want it for everyone, per year cost on a small amount is £50 ish. We had a google around for standalone and found it for £12 on Amazon and £25 on microsoftstore.org.uk, £500 on ebuyer!!! Where are they getting these keys from, and selling them so cheap, its not as if Visio is mainstream and can knock off a Currys to get a load of keys!

Oh I agree wholeheartedly! TBH we use blast a lot more these days than PCOIP. We have 2 M10 Tesla cards in each server. The system works great in some situations, and I am pretty sure its a profile/persona issue, but higher ups want all the options! I used to sell small business citrix years ago, and the markups are horrendous between what the dealer buys it for the RRP to the end user, but Citrix set the pricing. weird really, but I wasn't complaining back in the day, now I'm on the other end, complaining is the name of the game!

We are already a VMWare Horizon standard user, but we cannot get it stable, so I have been asked for competing pricing, is all. Don't really want to pay Citrix prices anyway! We have so many little problems that IT can live with, but the general user can't. Printers dropping, black screens, slowness, etc, long login times, etc. And it's not everyone at same time, its the odd user here and there, really annoying! Running Persona and have Tesla cards and APEX PCOIP offload cards too. 512GB RAM in beefy server and plenty of space connected into a 10Gbe backbone gigabit network. It should p all over this scenario.

Morning all, Anyone got a bead on roughly what prices we can expect to pay for a citrix virtual app and desktop licence in an education setting, if they indeed do that. Currently "no discount, off the site" pricing is around £162 per, which is eyewatering when we want 150-200!! Do Citrix have a educational licence program or are they still pulling the minimum spend malarkey that rules out anyone other than a Uni? Thanks, any help appreciated James
