Teams seems to work on my LTSC once deployed.. I'm moving to W11 Edu Pro slowly over summer.

Its a issue with my Group policy, took it out of them all and it connects fine. Fun times ahead to sort it.

Yep, all the tests run ok.. dcdiag.. dns resolution. I did replace a DC 6 months ago but nothings flagged up will I installed Windows 11 machine. It seems to be doing it on all the W11 machines.

Hi, I've just installed a few windows 11 machines on my network so I can look at rolling this out over the summer. I've been using it for a while myself. Couple of weird things. The network connection always says unauthenticated and it never recognises it as a domain machine for the firewall profile. I've read you can unjoin and rejoin which sometimes fixes it but havent tried it yet... and I've tried resetting the machine password but I get this. Reset-ComputerMachinePassword : Cannot reset the secure channel password for the computer account in the domain. Operation failed with the following exception: The server is not operational. PDQ Inventory doesn't see it online either.. even when I disable the firewall. Probably something simples. Any pointers would be great. Oh.. Windows 11 Edu is the ISO I used with RUFUS so it alters it so it can install on older specs.

Ta, looks like I need to upgrade it to get any speed.

We moved away when they tripled the cost and went to Sophos. We also uses to use their mail filtering which was pretty good but moved to Barracuda.

I watched Godzilla minus one last week. I've read a few reviews saying you should watch it with subs but I decided to watch the dubbed version. I enjoyed it but not worth the hype IMHO. Oh and I managed o catch Sound of Freedom which was a weird one. Not sure its a film you enjoy!

I watched the first episode of the Ones that live last night... Ricks accent is still terrible. Seemed promising until Michonne turned up.

Its black so doesn't follow any standards. Looks like I might just be using aggregating for the link. I've got a shorter link I might try tomorrow and see if that does it.. I know thats only OM2 as I had it installed. The longer building link runs under a driveway in a conduit and has a pull cord still in to so might look at upgrading sometime in the future.

Its a start and unbelievably more speedy than last week.. no ones in though. I can't get the long distance ones to work. I bought these UACC-OM-MM-10G-D-2 but its syaing loss of signal when I connect.. The standard 1G ones work ok.

I've bought all Unifi ones. I've had a major disaster this morning and had to reset loads of switches to get people on. I've linked a couple of switches with copper too as the agg switch didn't link them.

Hi, I've read that the auto negotiate is a little temperamental on the Aggregation switches. I've managed to set a couple as 10Gb by forcing it but I've just tried another one and its killed my network and I can't see most of the switches... they must be working as I can see devices on the LAN. I should have put a redundancy link in when I started so this didn't happen. Anyone had the same issue?

I've replaced all my Netgear stuff now for Unifi... just moving cables around and doing some LAG links.. Very impressed so far. just wish my cabling was tidier.

Agreed.. my eyes hurt from the amount of eye rolling that I did. Very run of the mill stuff. I watched the first episode of Dark Matters last night but fell asleep. Very in keeping with the Apple Tv style.

I only had 10 minutes to sort it but I imagine print it, scan it, ocr it then read it which would be against the rules. The nice lady at Claro did a great sales pitch for 20 minutes saying paying them money would solve it.

Morning, Bit of a S show today as the exams papers were password protected and Claro didn't read them. Has anyone had this issue with the latest version? We are on an older version which they've said is the reason why. The pdf is secured and can't be copied and pasted makes me think nothing will work but I'm usually wrong.
