I've had about 60 of them and I've had one *recent* failure. I'm not bent out of shape about it considering the hammering they get. Also bonus - they have w7 driverpack available and if you go win10 it finds all the drivers without a driver pack.

I was contemplating this the other day... One place I worked we had a guy who was possibly the most Scottish bloke I'd ever met, he was site staff - I couldn't understand 4/5ths of what he said and the 1/5 I could understand was f**k, he used it like a comma. He wore a kilt pretty much all year round, so when it got hot there was absolutely no question about it being acceptable, people just did it, at one point there was about 10 other kilts in the staffroom. It was glorious!

Power management? Can you try unticking the 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' in the properties of the card? Check the power plan too. Just something else to try although it does just sound like the card is borked.

My Wife has a Makro card through her Brownie unit, and other than stuff for the Brownies we only really buy Toilet roll, centrefeed rolls for the kitchen and the garage and 5l bottles of washing up liquid. We sometimes buy meat in there if we have a big family dinner coming up.

are you using a device specific driver, the uniflow driver or the generic driver? We've just moved to the package aware driver generic plus from the generic non PA and everything as got weird. We are direct with canon and they are saying it's an issue with package aware drivers and to sit tight until they release a new driver. I'm wondering whether it's a uniflow issue. have you tried creating a test queue and seeing if the problem follows you?

Then you are the minority that requires to leave smb 1 enabled and ensure your servers are patched... Am I over simplifying this?

I've made this a behaviour issue and as we only have 2 models of laptop across the whole school now - staff included - literally everyone knows how to turn the wifi on because there are emails and posters about it.

If you are, do any of them look like this: Because I want them! We've got a shedload of them and the power buttons are failing. I could, re case them, but they're in an IT suite and I don't want them to start looking different.

I don't wear a tie, much too dangly and impractical, and my bow tie is reserved for black tie/evening dress events, however... I do occasionally wear a cravat, I have several, a classic burgundy paisley, a blue micro paisley and an orange silk one, I find they work quite well.
