Just spoke to Lenovo again and they haven't issued a release date yet. All they knew is that it will probably be this quarter and until it's released, they can't send out any info or pricing I've emailed and left a message with a guy quite high up to see if he knows anything so if he has any info i'll let you guys know. The X121e is still available in the meantime. Sorry it's nothing more concrete

I've just checked and the release has been pushed back until February but it doesn't say a date so I'm waiting for our guys at Lenovo to return my call and then i'll let you know for sure

Support wise, they're both good. However if you go with HP then because everybody and their dog handles HP, you'll have support from the reseller as well as HP whereas with Dell, even if you go through a reseller, it still has to go through Dell. I deal with them both but if I had to pick one, it'd be HP because the discounts are better so you'll get more bang for your buck

From having a quick glance i think the most appropriate move would be an ip enabled system, with out implementing the voip connection. This will allow you to make the necessary change when required. If you have multi sites that needed to connect with each other then that would be implemented using the voip connection, but with call charges dramatically being reduced, there are alternatives to connecting a school on a voip platform. We can come do a site survey if you like and give you some accurate info?

For all in ones, I like Dells. One of my primary schools bought a load off me recently and they love them. If you need any info on them, I can find out for you. They were really good spec for the price. They are more rpexpenive than the Acer equivalent but if you're thinking about getting a quantity, then I'd recommend the Dell support

I couldn't agree more. Every time someone asks for ees I always go through the options with them. Majority of the time though, it works out for the best. I have Primaries, secondaries etc using ees and are very happy and I wouldnt recommend it unless it was gong to benefit the school. From a sales point of view, there's no difference between selling ees and anything else. We don't get more "points" or a pat on the back. Even with hardware, I don't recommend it unless its beneficial. Happy clients make the job a lot better

EES is brilliant in most cases. I have only come across one or two schools that it doesn't make sense for. I've dealt with them since they cam out so if you have any questions or need any quotes, just let me know

I'd also look at Meru and Netgear. I've got schools that are very happy with both so I can tell you about them, provide quotes etc etc.

Hello Pyroman! HP Color LaserJet Pro CM1415fn - this is a good machine! Toners around the £40 mark so not going to break the bank! Hope this helps

Yes i have Sky 3d, there's only 1 channel but it has films, football, documentaries etc on it and it is really good. I watched Shrek 3d with my 4 year old nieces at the weekend and they loved it! Ha. I don't think the 2d to 3d conversion would be as good as what your biology teacher is expecting. If you go into Currys or Comet, they'll be on display so you can have a look. There's also ( as you probably already know ) passive 3d and active 3d. Passive 3d is what you get with the cheap glasses in the cinema and active glasses are a lot more expensive but seem to be better. I compared the two before i bought mine and ended up going with the active

I've got a Samsung 3d TV and i've not been impressed with the 2d to 3d feature. You can tell it's slightly 3d but i dont wear my glasses unless i'm watching a actual 3d film or 3d football, both of which are awesome. I would recommend 3d 100%. I wouldn't bother buying films that were made in 2d and have been converted either because there rubbish!
