It does, of sorts and it isn't updateable, it also has other stupid glitches that they have no interest in fixing. Apparently what we are asking for no-one can offer currently, not MySchoolPortal or Firefly or Edulink. iSAMS have said they have a new API they are using and it does allow medical data to be written back so hopefully it won't be long now!

Hi Dave, Are you using it with iSAMS, what has your experience been like? We have it setup as a demo currently, I won't lie it feels like they are still getting it to work I have spotted a few issues but as always top effort on their part, they always get issues resolved quickly, the bits we feel are missing are report publishing and editing of contact info and medical data. So we find ourselves on a journey looking for a new Parent Portal, we want something that hopefully can replace some of our other Systems (SOCS, SchoolCloud, iSAMS Parent Portal), needs to have good comms and hopefully the ability to update and writeback key information INCLUDING MEDICAL!!! As far as I am aware there isn't one that can update Medical info as iSAMS don't allow it, but please prove me wrong. We had a demo of MySchoolPortal and it looks fine but wouldn't be good enough for us to replace existing systems, also doesn't currently have an app, and would be another layer on top. In a dream world Edulink would work with iSAMS. What are you lot using?

I think that was the crux of it, I found a standard iSAMS report that had parts of what I wanted and it had code for pulling latest auditid etc, the rest of it was gibberish including security filtering! Many thanks for that, it basically gives the same result as my one did, in that it is still showing certain archived medical conditions despite the fact the Query returns false for all those fields on all records, I wonder if it is a fundamental bug in iSAMS where if an iSAMS condition is modified and then archived/ deleted, only the modified version gets removed?? With the initial still existing invisibly in iSAMS until pulled out by a report.

Thanks for that, I've had a look and there is nothing in the Sanatorium tables that relate to it unfortunately, further investigation I can see that one example of this is a pupil had a medical note added in 2021 then modified in 2022 then archived in 2023 and it is pulling out the initial note (2021) but not the final archived version, as if the initial note hasn't been tagged as archived True but the amended one has.

This is a long shot and I'm not expecting a response but I don't want to pay iSAMS and wait a month for a one word answer... I'm creating a contact/medical details report it is to show parents the currently held contact and medical details for their child, all working fine having modified the built in contact details report, only issue is that it shows medical issues that are no longer active (I don't know where it is pulling them from as they don't show on iSAMS), I have added the following fields: TblMedicalconditionsGroup - txtGroup TblMedicalAuditBase - bArchived TblMedicalAuditBase - bDeleted TblMedicalAuditBase - intMedicalRecordTypeID TblMedicalConditionGroup - bDeleted TblMedicalNoteType - bDeleted And have applied the following filters to show only live records: TblMedicalConditionGroup - bDeleted - False TblMedicalNoteType - bDeleted - False TblMedicalAuditBase - bArchived - False TblMedicalAuditBase - bDeleted -False In the query builder it shows all these filters and they are showing the correct results except we have loads where it his showing false for all the filters and yet they still don't show up in iSAMS, in my mind if they aren't deleted or archived then they should show right??? Is there a field somewhere else that I am missing that shows only current live conditions as shown in iSAMS are displayed? Thanks!

Hi All, We are replacing some of our older ProWise boards Proline+ era with BenQ boards and so will have around 10 going begging if anyone is interested, a couple of them have touch issues, either ghost taps or no touch they are all 65" and the picture is fine on all of them, they are heavy boards around 80KG I believe and would need collection during the summer hols, the School is in Tonbridge. Oooh Interesting, few questions if you don't mind: Cost? How does it work with publishing academic reports from iSAMS? Is it using an API to talk to iSAMS? Does it do After school Clubs? Video Parents evenings? Would be nice to get all of it in one tool. Thanks!

This is still dragging on if anyone has any suggestions, currently going down the path of a Parent portal form that someone then has to export all the data from and manually update iSAMS!

Just for discovering printers as far as I know, we still have the blank printing issue.

How do you do it?? We have iSAMS, we are being told we need to get parents to check the contact/medical data we hold is correct, from what I can see and iSAMS support have confirmed we have no way of showing parents the medical data we hold, so how do we get them to confirm it is correct, without resubmitting everything each year, and then someone having to go through each pupil and compare it? What we need: Parent contact details confirmed. Pupil Medical data confirmed. A submission form to confirm they have checked, or details to be updated. Ideally an iSAMS form would directly input the data into the system.... This has dragged on and I have no solution for SLT

On Mobility Print change Discovery option to known host and give it the IP of the print server/ Papercut server, then at the bottom of that page is a bit that says Apple iOS Client setup click that download the file, then on Jamf create a profile, upload custom profile and point it to downloaded file from earlier, then assign the profile to your devices. All works well, except now photo printing doesn't work because of another known issue on Papercut!

As an update the known host feature works for us, so we have now moved to that, you do need to deploy the profile for iPads though, Chromebooks picked it up straight away.
