Hello, I am looking at using Unfi Wireless. I was looking at running it on a Windows VM however it appears to be install it in the users profile and this isn't ideal. What do people do about this please? Maybe there is another solution? I don't really want to use the hardware cloud key. Thanks

Hello, I am wondering who on here is using FortiGate Firewalls please? I am looking for some feedback please? How easy do you find the product to use? Is technical support good? Any other comments would be gratefully received. We don't have a requirement to web filter the connection so I am not looking to use those features. Thanks

Same. The VPN profile is actually setup using some kind of installer. I think it’s from the old school Windows server remote access features. You could create an installer for VPN. Can’t think of its name though.

Hello, As some of you know I have inherited a network that is a bit of a mess. The previous IT guys had setup VPN profiles on the laptops manually. They pointed directly to the public IP address rather than a DNS. Problem now is we are changing ISP and will have new addresses. The VPN profiles will become invalid and users won't be able to connect. The VPN is using a pre-shared key so I can't push it out via group policy. I am wondering if someone knows where the configuration for the screenshot is stored please? I could potentially push this change via SCCM or Group Policy. I we have hundreds of laptops across Australia so its going to be a huge problem to do this manually. Does anyone else have any other ideas maybe? maybe there is an easier way and I have missed it. Hello, I am trying to separate 2 polices. One for laptops (and tablets etc) and one for desktops. I have this WMI that should pick out the laptops. Select * from Win32_Battery WHERE (BatteryStatus = 0) Is anyone able to help with the battery status number to use for computers without a battery please? I have tried 1 and 2 and it isn't that. As long as you don't use the enterprise enrollment the device students should be able to login and any settings will only apply to their acount.

Again all those points you made apply to everyday use? As you say it's not acceptable to leave a logged in laptop hanging around at home but nor is that acceptable in the workplace. It sounds like your existing AUP is weak (by your own admission it was copied from some place else) and needs improving rather than making a new one. In the world of business where working remotely is common they generally don't have seperate policies to cover different physical locations.

Australia have put new measures in. In addition to the international borders being closed the state borders are also closed meaning you can't move around the country. Public places are now closed such as beaches, cinemas, gyms, pubs, casinos etc. Cafes and restaurants will takeaway only. The prime minister did note during his speech that bottle shops will remain open!

It isn't taxed like it is in the UK. Although that price I quoted was very cheap. I usually pay around $1.30 a litre (around 65p). The price does change like the wind. The most I paid was $1.55 a litre (around 77p). Generally tax is lower here. VAT (we call it GST) is only 10%. Beer is taxed quite heavily - its more expensive than the UK. Wine isn't and it's much cheaper than the UK. I live in South Australia where most of it is made so you can get some good prices.
