Enable DHCP snooping and Dynamic ARP inspection. The first stops anything other than your DHCP server to give addresses. Dynamic ARP inspection stops man in the middle attacks.

Is there any reason your domain controllers don’t forward directly to Google?

Slow DNS resolution can give the illusion of slow network connections. Have you had a look at this? Maybe look at your internal dns and then your dns forwarders for public domain names.

Sounds like ours. We have our radius clients in their own vlan and add the subnets to NPS. Make life much easier.

I use Unifi with Windows NPS. Works well. One thing to note is you need to add the wireless access points as radius clients.

Sorry to hijack. If you have Office 365 it and have it synced with AD it will probably be more secure to do the LDAPS against Azure AD than your internal domain controllers.

If you use VLANS - You need to change the IP Helper Address on your switches. If you don't - Clients will automatically find the DHCP via broadcast.

Lots of companies have 2 large dual screens as standard. In addition many "power users" also have them. For example in all our officices people have a docked laptop and 2 x 24" monitors. I can't see them wanting to give up a second screen. So people won't order them for that reason, I consider that a show stopper.

It depends on the product. If it’s a 3 year contact on an internet connection, with a good company and a good SLA it would be low risk. The internet isn’t going anywhere! However, the same length on a legacy, on premise software application wouldn’t be. I have seen many places sign 3 year contracts for copiers. By year 4 they are worn out and very unreliable.

It would be foolish to lock in for 5 years. 1. The product itself is old and legacy. There is nothing firm to say this will change. 2. If the service does suffer you will be stuck with the predict for a considerable amount of time. Surely when you see something bad on the horizon you would look at other options instead of pressing ahead?

I’m assuming upgrading will cause an outage until the changes are made. Maybe I could: 1. Block traffic to unifi with an access control list. 2. Upgrade 3. Make config changes 4. Remove the ACL.

The WLAN groups and VLAN tagging are to watch out for. Both these impact our network. Having over 100 access points makes me nervous about installing this.

Hello, I have had this issue for a few weeks. I have tided my Gmail inbox on my computer using then web interface. On the Gmail app on my iPhone it still shows messages that I have archived or deleted. New messages appear. If I delete on the iPhone they disappear from both the Gmail app and web Interface. So it doesn’t seem like sync is fully broken. Does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks
