Coronavirus: General discussion (see opening post for rules)

I have just booked my Booster as I am eligible in a couple of weeks. Double vaccine is already mandatory at work (working with the vulnerable) so it’s only a matter of time before 3 vaccines are mandatory. It was an easy process to book online. You can also pick any approved vaccine you like - it was like a buffet menu. I am curious to know if you have the choice in the UK? -
Child's Play (1988) I have been watching the TV series Chucky, so thought I would see where it all started. It was a nice short film and easy to watch!

If does look like v16 users have some more time. Version 16 customers will be provided with a patch for V16 Update 8, however this will be a short-term fix. Both updates extend the activation compatibility until November 2022.

That's like saying people selling a house for £250,000 that 80's for £20,000 are not reasonable. The original purchase price isn't relevant, market demand is. -
I think this can we said for the technology sector as a whole. There hasn’t been the innovation that was seen in previous times. It’s been mostly refinements and improvements.

In my opinion anyone without these skills should be nowhere near a school network. We are now in an era were everyone seems to be victim of some kind of cyber attack. For this reason, amateurs can't be running school networks anymore and thus the person actually doing the job will have all the above skills.

This should be picked up by your web filter.

Hello, I am thinking about getting a new TV. The one we have seems to occasionally develop lines on the screen. We have one of the new Chromecast and it’s really good. We rarely use it to “cast” just use the apps to stream. As technology progresses and apps stop working we can replace it for $99. A smart TV isn’t so easy. Is there any benefit to getting a smart TV. I am thinking about get a standard TV and connecting the Chromecast. Cheers.

Silent Night I haven't been feeling too well this weekend and my choice of movie reflected this. It was rather this or Die Hard. I chose wrong! It's an awful movie, not real storyline to it, nobody on the edge of the seat etc. Won't be watching again.

There is a chain of these all over Australia. Stupid name for a shoe shop… -
8-Bit Christmas I watched this with my girlfriends nephew. It was quite a good movie - better than I was expecting. It's more geared towards kids but does have a few "hidden" jokes for adults.

Some international border restrictions have been lifted. I can now renter Australia should I want / need to leave. I don’t have any great desire to go anywhere but it does make me feel better than I have the choice. -
Server 2022 ha sbene released. however there doesn't appear to be a board to post Server 2022 related topics. Could we create one to accompany the other versions of Windows Server? Thanks

The fear of change plays a huge part in this.

Coronavirus: General discussion (see opening post for rules)
FN-GM replied to Dos_Box's topic in General Chat
Many industries have made vaccinations mandatory here in South Australia. Antivaxers seems to be ok with loosing their jobs…. We don’t have COVID in the community. However, they are changing the rules on Tuesday. The borders will be open and people self quarantine for 7 days. Give it a week and I am sure it will be circulating around the community.
