I would like to enable the "Draw" toolbar within the ribbon in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Does anyone know if there is a hidden GPO or registry setting we can apply to customize the Ribbon with "Draw" so users don't have to do this manually?

When this happened, within the XG under Authentication >Users did the users appear in the ‘Open Group’ (assuming you left this as your default group) instead of their correctly ordered group as per Authentication >Groups ?

Did you decide on a system?

Certainly had issues 1 + 3. Just put it down to Google capacity/demand issues. We have ruled everything out onsite.

Just looking to refresh our infrastructure kit and therefore VM's etc. Putting aside the whole on-prem vs cloud debate, how many file servers do you have onsite? Currently we have 4 which host home drive shares plus other network shares. Am looking at simplifying this onto one VM, with multiple drives within. Can anyone see any issues with this? If we were to put this into Azure, we wouldn't necessarily pay for multiple VM's to host simple shares. From a monetary perspective when it comes to Azure surely you'd look to rationalise and spin up as few VM's as possible? Why not apply the same logic to on-prem?

We have been asked to investigate consolidating existing O365 tenancys into a single O365 tenancy. We have schools which use Email / OneDrive / SharePoint / Teams. I have investigated Microsofts built in tools to do such things, however they all have their quirks. For example the Security & Compliance PST export of mailboxs aren't in a nice format. They don't allow for easy merging into the users new mailbox - the PST contains folders such as [email protected] (Primary) then a load of sub folders, one of which contains the users old Inbox structure. Also the calendar from the source mailbox isn't merged, instead it exists as another calendar named 'Calendar' - useful! Thanks Microsoft. It would seem if we want the migration to be as smooth as possible with the minimum of disruption for staff/students and IT support we need to be looking at paid for 3rd party tools. I have looked online at products such as: CodeTwo https://www.codetwo.com/office-365-migration/ Quest https://www.quest.com/products/on-demand-migration/ SkyKick https://www.skykick.com/blog/office-365-to-office-365-migrations/ Cloudiway https://cloudiway.com/solutions/office-365-to-office-365-migration/ To name but a few. Has anyone used any of the products listed above or any others not listed? How did they perform, would you recommend? What have others done / are planning on doing when it comes to migrating from one O365 tenancy to another? Have you migrated users data for them? Put the onus on the user to migrate what they want to keep? Have you migrated anything at all? Looking at some of the products listed above, the costs can quite quickly rise. In order to keep costs to a minimum consideration has to be given to whose data you choose to migrate. Using paid for tools above to migrate everyones data can be quite costly. Interested to know what others have done, approx. what they paid to migrate their schools.

Something isn't right somewhere then. We have 2 hosts with plenty of CPU and RAM, one of the hosts has an NVidia K1 card in which we share amongst some desktops. We have zero issues, none of what you are explaining above. Have you tried removing some of the complexity, i.e. APEX PCOIP offload card? We looked at these and decided for the very little difference they make we couldn't justify the cost or complexity. We don't run persona - so maybe this is something else you could remove to see if it helps? Maybe a more appropriate use of spend could be on some consultancy as you already have the licensing and hardware?

Why Citrix? Vmware Horizon Advanced licensing will give you the ability to run full desktops and applications. It can be licensed based on concurrent users also which could potentially save money depending upon its use case. Been a long time user of Horizon and it’s great.

Have used them for the last few years. We take a cage or two from them at a time and fill with junk - they then collect usually within the week. Relevant WEEE paperwork then provided electronically thereafter.

Valid thing to check - but we have all exclusions in place. And it works with older version of Adobe Reader DC and current version of Foxit Reader but insists on "flattening pdf" with any version of Adobe Reader DC 19.012.xxxxx and later.
