We haven't had any alerts on any of the geobooks and have been using the built-in image for months (multiple batches as well), unless it's a new batch/image they're using maybe. As that virus normally targets browsers that aren't installed on any of the geobooks we've had Out of curiosity what's inside that bat file? Take it not just a random mis-flag for some reason Steve

Take it nothing stupid like their phones/tablets interfering? (You know like if you put it near a speaker etc) Would explain why it follows them around but no-one else Steve

I may be missing the obvious, (ignoring the general old TLS issue), but how would disabling TLS on the gateway affect SIMs on a RDS host? Or do you have the apps installed on the same VM as the gateway rather than separate roles? Steve

The installer is the same, as the only thing that makes it VDI is the alluser flag, if you don't use that it'll just install it as normal but in program files (until a user loads it when it copies to appdata). As mentioned, even deleting the appdata settings etc (not install version) will bring the setting to life without a reinstall, so it's definitely already in the MSI But yeah, still to investigate as time allows! Just to let you know we've had the same issue and it does seem to be linked to the VDI key, however there's more at play here just to confuse things, which I'm still trying to work out as I get spare time! So we're using the Citrix key under PortICA. If you delete it, and open Teams again as you say nothing happens. However if you close Teams, Remove the regkey, then delete %appdata%\Microsoft\teams, Open Teams again (You'll notice in Settings the "new experience" is now there asking for a restart), close it again and reopen and boom you have New Meeting experience, even without reinstalling. If you then close it, delete appdata again and put regkey back it next time you open it back to old experience. However, if you put the regkey back, but leave their appdata, they now have the new experience, but with the VDI key, so it seems to be something in the appdata settings that's causing the problem (Created originally by the VDI key) Steve

Yep. Especially if they're DfE devices rather than your own. Local account, Teams/365/Chrome/OneDrive etc pre-installed. Set a restore point, more for our laziness of fixing if required Seems to work well for them (at least in terms of the specs for the Geobooks etc) as home devices. As all data is auto sync'd to OneDrive (KFM setup as above), any "i've broken it" just needs a restore and you're done Steve

If you mean the flow tests then nothing we were told when asked about setting it up, it's supposed to be uploaded to the site as soon as the tests are done apparently as you need the barcodes to scan to upload a code and then they need to be destroyed/thrown out etc for cleanliness Or have you heard different? The short answer is you don't It emails the owner, so either you're owner and get them, or she/he is and gets them. (You can just send a "copy form" link to them and then it'll copy the whole form into their area) The longer answer is, you could bodge it via Power automate to bypass you and notify them on submissions etc Steve

That's what we went with. Local admin rights, Teams/Office/Chrome/VLC etc preinstalled. Form/paper for parents to sign etc, nothing else from our side. Easy to prebuild a bunch up too ready to assign out to that last minute person Steve

Do you mean to divert to your phone? If so they're normally a base monthly cost, with X minutes (50% split between inbound and divert), and then over that you'll pay per minute so depends how many minutes you think you'll be using? Steve
