Good morning, Our Admissions team send letters using the mail merge to PDF option in Word but by default it just sends the letters to parents from the individual account belonging to that member of staff. But everyone in that team has permission on a shared Admissions mailbox so is there a way to get the mail merge to PDF function to send from that instead? The only way we have found so far is to manually add the shared account to Outlook (rather than relying on 365 permissions) and then setting it as the default in Outlook account settings before using the mail merge to PDF function in Word. @Brimstone I wasn't thinking about Cloud Drive Mapper being accessible via Logic, more if CDM runs on Mac and maps a drive to a location where Logic files exist would they not just open in Logic due to the extension type? Could you elaborate on the Synology idea, please? I get that that's where the data would live but then how do you go about opening what's on there from the Macs? Wouldn't it still require a mapping? @supportman how do you find SharePoint plays with files for Sibelius, Logic or other music-specific apps? I've been wondering if Cloud Drive Mapper is Mac compatible which would allow the music department to move to Teams\SharePoint but still access via a mapped drive potentially.

I too am doing this by script now after my predecessor explained how the script he had for Fusion worked and only needs a simple edit to the path each time after manually updating on one PC manually. From what I understood of what I was shown, only part of part of path changes for admin (all users) installer so script is designed to look for that path and update Fusion if folder exists or install if it doesn't. Happy to share if anybody wants to PM.

Good morning, I recently updated a remediation\detection policy because it generated an error on the scripts not being digitally signed (they had always worked before so not sure what had changed) but I checked using get-authenticode and this proved to be true. So I downloaded the scripts again from the GitHub repository and checked they were digitally signed before uploading them but now the status per device either stays pending or still fails with the digital signature error. Can anybody think of what I am missing here? Thanks in advance as always

Thanks @NicholasEsping I can see the 'Enforce script signature check' is already set to no. The reason I would like the actual script out is so I can run get-authenticodesignature against it to see what is going on. I didn't set this up initially and as I understand it my predecessor self signed it and used the domain controller to issue it.

Good afternoon all, I'm trying to solve a problem I previously posted about regarding an Intune remediation script not being digitally signed anymore and to investigate further I am trying to export the script using the guidance from Oliver Kieselbach but I get the following error when running the suggested script: "Sign in Sorry, but we’re having trouble with signing you in. AADSTS700016: Application with identifier 'abc' was not found in the directory 'xyz'. This can happen if the application has not been installed by the administrator of the tenant or consented to by any user in the tenant. You may have sent your authentication request to the wrong tenant." The script is meant to retrieve all remediation scripts from Intune, I'm thinking if I can get the remediation script out I can check it's signature status. Does anybody have any suggestions on how I can solve the original issue (remediation script not running) or this one, please? Thanks

@Danny11616 I know they had a thing just before the Summer and after the Summer where SIMS changed two things in quick succession so the Inventry updater had to be installed twice but I'm guessing if you've installed that now it is the right version.

@Danny11616 I'm not sure if the problem is permanently fixed or not, our attendance team had some other errors as well so I just opened tickets with Inventry and copied the attendance team in so they could deal with it between them. I know Inventry remoted onto the SIMS server and main screen a couple of times but I'm waiting to hear from attendance team if everything is okay now. Thanks

Good morning, I'm getting an error with a remediation script in Intune that tells me the script is no longer digitally signed but I'm not sure how to fix this as I did not implement the script or the remediation policy. If if helps, it's the Richard Hicks "Use RAS Credentials" fix for AlwaysOnVPN. I knew something was up because users were no longer getting mapped drives when connecting to the VPN and I'm guessing this remediation script failing is the reason but as I said I'm not sure how to start fixing it. Does anybody have any suggestions please? Thanks

Somebody I spoke to at Inventry didn't seem to know all that much about the absence codes changing. They did run and install and run the updater for me though.

Good afternoon, Having very little vSphere experience I was impressed when I managed to create a vmdk and attach it to a VM but it reports as not initialized when viewing via disk management on Windows. There is one line on VMWare documentation: -w|--writezeros Was I supposed to put this at the end of the vmkfs tools command when I created the vmdk or if not, how do I initialize this disk? Thanks

Good morning, Controversial question I know but the Media department here who have recently lost their technician is telling me that individual would frequently convert videos from YouTube for students to edit in Adobe etc. The teaching staff in that department didn't know what the technician was using and now find themselves trying to access some blocked sites and tools to achieve the same thing (rightly so in my opinion). So my questions really are about this practice in general, should it not be happening or if it is allowed how to do it securely? Thanks

Good morning, I'm not overly familiar with Power Automate so I don't know if what I'm trying to achieve is even possible but we would like parents to fill out a Microsoft Form and then receive a confirmation e-mail to the address that they state in the form. I've messed about in Power Automate but I think something is wrong in the condition regarding the response being anonymous. Thanks

Good afternoon, When we migrated to OneDrive I put in place some traditional folder redirection GPOs that redirect Documents, Favorites, Music, My Pictures and My Video to %onedrive%\Documents etc. But now I'm interested in using the Known Folder Silent Move via Intune which at the moment is configured to move Desktop, Documents and Pictures. I have tested on an empty test account with none of the above traditional policies applied and it worked perfectly. However I'm worried about what might happen when I enable the Intune policy for existing users with data and remove the traditional policies if that makes sense? Thanks

@jmak the thing about entering the script into the task sequence has fixed it and now that I think about it I seem to recall this being a thing years back just as I was leaving my last place

Good morning, I'm sure like most schools our Media department needs students to create websites, it would seem historically this school has used one Wix but I'm wondering how others go about this. I'm particularly thinking about a platform whereby the HoD could have an administrator-type account and enable\disable student logons as and when they are allowed to work on it. Thanks

Good morning, Has anybody seen this error before please? I updated ADK and Win PE as I was testing with Windows 11 but now the task sequence has stopped working with Win 10. Only thing I can think of is that the task sequence does install the operating system from a reference image which is 21H2 so maybe the updates I made and the version don't align? Thanks
