Good afternoon, Today, what seems like all of a sudden, we are unable to log into any of our Google Workspace Admin accounts as they "do not meet the organisations 2-step verification policy" I knew changes were being enforced to admin accounts but I did not think that was yet and last time I checked, we had 2FA off across the organisation in Workspace. Has anybody else had an issue with this? Thanks

Hi all, Not sure if I have forgotten to set something or if I have not set something right but looking at some Windows 11 devices we have, I can see via Control Panel power settings that the monitor is set to go to sleep after 25 minutes but I wonder if this only applies when left open on desktop because from lock screen, monitors are going blank after a minute or so. It doesn't look like the devices (Intel NUCs) are going to sleep themselves because the power light is still a solid blue, mouse laser still on etc. but sometimes users cannot wake the devices up through mouse, keyboard or power button input and end up restarting from the plug. Have not tested but will try to see if being connected to projector\SMART board makes any difference. Thanks

@garethedmondson @Olliedawg Thanks, testing these ideas now. How would I know\check regarding the WinPE Dell Drivers? I can image other Dell models just fine. Just had a quick look at that DeployR as well.

@garethedmondson Thanks, unfortunately this did not resolve the issue. I wonder if it could be driver related or maybe something on this model is triggering a restart when there should not be one and knocking the task sequence out.

Good afternoon all, Hoping somebody can think of something I haven't as we use MDT just fine to deploy Windows 11 but hit a specific problem on our Vostro 5481 devices. Should be Windows 11 compatible as the service tags return Windows 11 drivers on the Dell website but unlike any other device we hit the 'Dirty Environment Found' error on these around about the steps when MDT is installing Windows roles and features\runtimes. What could it be about these specific devices when the task sequence works perfectly on everything else?

Good morning all, It seems like we have a specific problem with our Mac devices playing ads that cannot be skipped, my suspicion is that they are not being subjected to the same filtering and SafeSearch criteria as the Windows devices even though they are all domain joined and on the same network as the Windows devices. Have asked LGfL about this as our ISP because unless the Macs are bypassing them somehow I cannot see what the difference would be, however, they say: "Macs can behave differently with YouTube as Apple applies stricter privacy and tracking controls at OS and browser level, which affects how ads are served and filtered compared to Windows devices. This is why the behaviour is only being seen on Macs and not elsewhere on the network." They add there is nothing further they can do. Does that ring true? Ideally we wouldn't want students seeing ads at all on the Macs, let alone inappropriate ones that cannot be skipped. Thanks

Good morning all, Bit of a hopeful legacy question this one but does anybody know where we can go now to get BIOS updates for Toshiba laptops, please? That Dynabook site looks like it doesn't cover UK\Europe as the serial number and part number of the device in question show no results and the link back to the Toshiba site is obviously broken. @bobsmith yeah this school has stuck with it for a long time because they know how to use it and it works for them, even though SIMS themselves have said we are probably the only school left in the country using it. The challenge for us with moving parents evenings to a hosted platform is that we dictate who sees who and when, online platforms either don't allow for this or it becomes more of a process than just creating an event and letting parents choose slots.

@MCPearson So are you adding domain users to the local users group on the PC or is that PC not on the domain?

@MCPearson I have given one user read and execute permissions on the folder. Looking again, I wonder if I have got the wrong download or install because the UAC prompt is asking about an app from an unknown publisher making changes and I notice the exe is not digitally signed.

@MCPearson @ovenchips Yes we have Applocker and I have allowed the executable but still get prompted for an admin username and password when standard user is logged on. I have set the app to run as an administrator, created the temp folder and given a standard user modify permissions on the directory but they are still prompted for an admin username and password. Thanks
