thanks i used adprep.exe /forestprep /forest domainname ADPrep /domainprep /domain domainname and it upgraded the AD now on secondary AD2, shall i run these again?

thanks i tried 2019 but its saying? Active Directory on this domain controller does not contain Windows Server 2019 ADPREP /FORESTPREP updates. See https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=113955. what do you suggest?

Hi Is there a good Free Proxy server out there to Authenticate Wired and Wireless Users via Active Directory for HTTP & HTTPS? I can authenticate them via PaloAlto firewall but the problem is with Wifi users, its hard to send them PA Certificate so that they can authenticate and use wireless services. Thanks

Thanks Duke but my problem is that the students are authentication using non domain joined devices to wifi and mostly mobiles not laptops etc I wonder why Cisco or any other appliance cant release a simple solution to authenticate users as per the groups OU bind to specific SSID. Seems simple but still struggling to find a fool proof solution

Thanks Duke Yes we do have separate VLAN for them. Shall i implement this subnet policy via GUI or CLI We ave all computers domain joined but i am more concerned about the wifi being used by students, thus want to restrict their authenticating and shape traffic via packetshaper

Hi I am wondering if i can authenticate CISCO Access Points via Windows Server 2012R2 Radius All CISCO access points are reporting directly to the CISCO Controller. Currently i am using ACS 4 but having issues in certificate of iPhone users. If anyone can share any tips or links to tutorials if its possible thanks -

it does set the path but the permissions are not granted to the directories unless you go to each account and modify it and apply > ok else path will be there without permission i am also finding a solution as to how to apply the path with permissions i read its possible via Powershell but no success so far -
Hi I am setting up Roaming Profiles on Server 2012R2 We have recently purchased EMC storage. Its up and running and AD can reach it easily Is there a way to map the shared drive of EMC to windows server so that i can set permission on the stuprofile folders. Options which are there for local storage attached are not appearing for EMC since its not local or cannot be mapped. I want to restrict users to their respective profiles only How can i manage it? thanks

Hi We are using Windows Server 2012R2 and the biggest problem we have is the request for change password Whats the best utility to use so that users can change their own password and can reset the password as well We will allow the users to do it on intranet only Please suggest some solutions thanks
