Apparently one of our deputy heads decided to make some changes to our Bromcom O365 integration settings!!!

Suddenly our staff photos are now being displayed in Office 365 OWA, pulled from Bromcom! Weird as we've made no changes and were happy with the default way it just showed users initials. How do I revert back?

Any supplier who continually tried to blame others for any issues rather than just supporting to their best ability would be unlikely to get a chance at any future contract. So it's a short-sighted view, in my opinion. Value for money comes in very different options though.

Also, you could decouple the web-filtering, firewall service element from the Broadband provision! No reason why you need to take both from the same vendor.

If the updates are yanked - but have already been downloaded to a server ready for manual installation kick-off - what do you do?

Don't you just need to uninstall the update?

Can't see of any reported issues with VMWare - is this bad patch only linked to HyperV ?

Don't you need to get some demo models in for your teachers to try out and decide? We did this and ended up with Viewsonic after they also trialled Smart and CleverTouch.

Horrendous. Unfortunately our outgoing bursar signed us up for a 3 or 4 year contract without actually doing any testing. The ordering element seems to be OK - browser based, but we gave up I think on the HR side of it which required JAVA installation and VPN - which had to be installed by the end-user!! Support was dreadful.

Just turned on some of our Lenovo 300e Netbook (2nd Gen) (Type 81M9) which came recently They all say the wrong date and time. I've joined to our Guest WiFi and Set Time automatically fails. Time zone is London - but time set is 15 hours advance! Also I cannot uninstall Mcafee AV so we can put on Sophos Not impressed.

Our latest batch of 16 laptops came about a week ago - no sign of any cases or pouches - I'm guessing that's for the school to buy.

Last day today for students and teachers - thank any lord! Message from Snr Techie last night to say his teenage son had tested +ve LFT so they're off for PCR in the morning, I've told techie to work from home today - no need for the rest of us to take any risks when school finishes at 12.30!
