My old school has Rugby trips. A few years ago they were going to NZ for 3 weeks. I tried to convince them to take me (staff costs were paid by the school) as a Translator, but they weren't having any of it

Millennium Falcon... w00t! Thanks

Avaya bought out Nortel's patents when they folded... Handset looks identical to Nortel T7100... What is this connected to at the backend? A BCM or something Avaya branded? Because I'm fairly certain you can't run 2 handsets off 1 number (we've had no luck on our BCM anyway)

lol thanks. Although I was only comparing the fact that the APs had dual ethernet. I realise the rest is comparing apples to oranges.

I guess it's their marketing department's spiel and the magic words "up to" that get them out of that jam then?

So how do you get 1.3Gbps over a 1Gbps Ethernet connection? When I was looking at Xirrus AC kit a while ago they solved this by giving the access points 2 network connections.
-
Ubiquiti's marketing literature for this model says "breakthrough speeds up to 1300Mbps" and that is has a "gigabit ethernet port", plus a "secondary ethernet port". I'm presuming you'd need both ethernet ports connected to get >1Gbps (when using 802.11ac) Or is this one of those "theoretical" maximums, and in reality you only need 1 cable because you're not going to get >1Gbps?

The first 2 items in the search have 2 different spellings... Let me google that for you

Quite possibly. I really haven't got a scooby who is right. But I'm banking on it being a trick question and me ending up being the only correct entry?
-
You've haven't copied me, Iain... I've spelt it differently to both of you!
