  1. Contrary to what others here think, I WOULD advise you do a course if you're doing cable runs regularly. It's not just about how to terminate. You need to know/understand about things like bend radius and distances from power and crossing power etc etc. An old employer sent me on a Krone Cat5 course back in about '97. I could probably do with a refresher...
  2. +1 for @Millgate who we have used before for both iPad and iPhone screen repairs. Pickup, Fix, Dropoff. No hassles! (but I need to get a second quote now too, so I will keep an eye on this thread to see who else does it)
  3. Our HTTPS aren't working from the outside world (HTTP is fine). Not sure if it is a Wakefield issue or whether it's more widespread... ICT4C said it was a "known problem and engineers were working on it" when we phoned (after we hadn't had a response to our email for 2hrs) No ETA for resolution given... Are any YHGfL bods able to shed any light for us please?
  4. Yes. I'd check your VLAN tagging if it's not working...
  5. I'm just looking for some cases for the iPad Air (not customised)... What is the make/model of the ones in your picture please @squeeky ? Thanks
  6. The previous Bullseye picture has inspired this... Does this get me a bonus entry?
  7. If you're referring to Robocopy not working, you are mistaken. I've been using it on Windows platforms since 1999...
  8. Did anyone else get upset/sad about lunchtime because the Video hasn't been uploaded? (only to realise it's not actually October yet...)
  9. That's the very reason I asked, @Marshall_IT... Users using iPads are having probs...
  10. I've had a look around Advanced Learning's website(s) but can't find anything Can someone point me at a webpage or document which gives this information please? Thanks in advance
  11. Our YHGfL-provided Internet has been problematic here too lately. Working for extended periods, then timing out etc for short periods (without any noticeable pattern)
  12. LMAO! Can't believe I didn't spot that when I wrote it. Obviously talking about the number of lefties...
  13. 16.85% from 89 Edugeekers. Huzzah!

  15. When I start OWA for iPad, it states "You must have the latest version of Office 365 to use this app". It then asks for an email address and password, but fails to connect (presumably as we're not O365) Can you please PM me any (sanitised, obviously) settings you're using to get it to work with a local exchange server please @Marci? (hopefully it's just something minor I'm missing to get it to work)
  16. Does anyone use, or can anyone recommend an app that will get iPad users view shared Exchange calendars please?
  17. Is the shirt available in Super-Jumbo-Deluxe size?
  18. Just under 16% of 76 voters are lefties... keep the votes coming peeps!!
  19. We got up to just over 20% lefties last night... back down to 16% this morning after 55 votes. If you haven't voted yet, please do so. Thanks peeps!
  20. Zak, did you not see my initial comments about cross-dominance or ambidexterity? i.e "if you consider yourself to fit in those categories, just choose which one you consider to be your strongest"... Really? At present it's 4 lefties out of 28. And 14.29% > 10%, no???

    Your Desk!

All this talk of left-handedness has led me to create a poll: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/general-chat/140077-you-left-right-handed.html
