Thank you @rpwillis. This is much clearer now. The csv's don't look too bad however one thing that I noticed was the username field for the students. It will be a bit of a nightmare having to match 1600 pupils up to their O365 username. We use RMUnify at the moment where we populate the via the ADSync utility. I know that I could turn on the MIS matching function of this tool to help alleviate the problem however RMUnify doesn't talk directly to SDS or the Schools REST API as far as I'm aware, so all we would get is the 365 groups (which is a start I suppose). Hmm...not sure whether just to wait for RMUnify to add this functionality in and to switch on the MIS matching to give us the O365 groups whilst we wait...

Hello, Can anybody tell me what the benefit of setting up School Data Sync is if you already have a way of creating/populating O365 Groups directly from your MIS? I may be missing something here but is School Data Sync not just another way of doing this? Does School Data Sync do something additional to this that we really require. We didn't go down the route of setting up MS Classroom as it was only a beta and I was waiting for it to become generally available. I'm waiting for MS to announce MS Teams for Edu i.e. the version that they showed at their Edu webinar earlier this month and not the current standard version of Teams. Any clarification on SDS would be greatly appreciated!

Cunninghams isn't our supplier however I went and manually patched our revals and tills. This caused no issues.

I tried the test mentioned in this url and the GPO appears to work which is great. For some reason ICMP must have been the wrong thing to test. Looks like that it's all sorted now! I just need to slowly roll this out slowly to make sure that it doesn't break anything. Thanks @Arthur

@Arthur I have tested this with a test GPO however it doesn't appear to work. I have tried to ping bbc.co.uk and I still get a reply. Shouldn't this fail to send in the first place. I've blocked all outbound traffic for %SystemRoot%\System32\cmd.exe on all profiles (Domain, Private and Public). I can see the rule appear in the firewall. Is there a better test for me to try or should in theory this work?

This is a known issue with this model of projector. The door motor mechanism has failed and will need to be replaced. If your warranty has expired (which it probably has) you will either need to send it away for repair or repair it yourself. It takes approx 40 minutes to repair. The motor units cost approx £55.

I've taken a look at the available subscriptions in our admin portal and it appears to be £1.06 a month for this.

Have you selected and ran the "Update Deployment Share" within MDT?

I was of the understanding that by setting up MIS Sync, it will automatically create the Office 365 Groups necessary for use within Teams. Is this not the case?

Yeah I too am wondering if Remote Desktop Services may be a way of bridging the gap for the apps that are still Win32. Perhaps this hybrid approach may be the best way forward for the next few years.

Is anyone using this service? Does it do everything that you want it to or are there limitations to it? Just wondering how people have found it in practice. We currently use the AD Sync tool which is great, however we are now looking to use MS Teams for Education (previously MS Classroom).

I've spent the best part of this morning putting together a whole host of resources for MS Classroom with a view to me setting this up for our school. I guess that I've just wasted my time then. Does anyone know where I might find technical information on setting up Teams for Education? I've had a quick Google for this but I can't find any.

@swiftv Did removing the group creation permission using PowerShell cause any problems when using MS Classroom? I'm thinking about doing the same too but I'd love to hear what your findings were.

My Head asked me to monitor our policies page for the same reason. We never found the results useful in predicting when we would receive the call. Google Analytics itself is very useful though in gleaning other information!

@Latham. Did you manage to sort this? I'm having the same issue here, albeit with Office 2013. I've put the next day or so aside to rid us of this problem but if you have already solved it then maybe you could save me some time!!!

We use SharePoint Online.We built some workflows to do everything that we needed it to do. The SLT are over the moon with the results.

Ours came back on 20 minutes or so ago but went back off within 5 minutes.Still off now. We're on filter 11
