Not showing as available on ours yet! Looks like the room blocking that I suggested has been implemented, hopefully it works as well as the rest of the system. Michael -
We would like to map our students home folders when the login on the iMacs. In WGM we have enabled them access to the student public drive by mapping smb://storage/studentpublic$ but we're abit unsure of what to put for mapping their home folder. Is it possible to point it directly at the AD Homepath? Regards, Michael

Hi, We are nearly ready for our staff to be able to use MyLittle Helpdesk, but was wondering if you guys & gal's had an example KB articles that we could use to populate ours! e.g Generic ones regarding toner changing etc... Or if anyone has their site available for us to look at see what we could use, that would be great! Cheers, Michael

linkazoid replied to linkazoid's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
Thanks for that, another question though.... Can the server 2008 be a member server or does it need to be a DC? Michael -
Is it possible to use the GPP on XP clients from a Server with 2003 installed or does it only work with Server 2008. Tried looking on MS website and googling it, but still don't know. Thanks Michael

We order 200 hundred IWC for the DC7900 over the holidays but they are still yet to arrive... Our disposal policy has also just been updated, which means we can now sell thing on ebay. Did you only allow them to be bought as a job lot? If your seller wants any more, PM me for my work details and they can buy ours when we change them. Collection would be East London Might still have some from the previous batch of 100. Regards, Michael

You can unlock blackberry's for free, with a bit of software, but i have never managed to get it working. Have a read on CrackBerry.com ? The #1 Site for BlackBerry Users & Abusers if you know the model to see what can be done. I've unlocked many blackberry's with online codes - have always gotten mine from Phone Unlock & Mobile Unlocking Codes - ThePhoneUnlockers.com you get them within 5 mins of ordering and you can pay with paypal. Right: I'm currently on 23034 (Lite) - Released on 23/08/2009 - Version Athena with Original Titanium v1 - 8mb pagepool size, as V2 was a bit buggy for me but should be ok, but i was trying at 2am. lol Download can be found Here You may want to install PIM Backup Manager on to your phone before upgrading PIM Download to backup your text messages and phone book contacts and notes. Follow this to make sure that updating goes ok! CAUTION: Only works on XP # Install Microsoft ActiveSync 4.5 (once) # Install the Samsung Modem Driver for XP (once) # Reboot the PC. # After the first 2 steps try to disconnect your Omnia from USB and connect it back on. Repeat it 1-2 times so the PC can recognize the phone. It is advised to reboot your PC also. # Make sure that have backup all your important stuff (contacts, pictures etc). # Switch OFF the phone by holding the Power button for ~5 seconds. # Run the updater. (Works the same way for Original or Cooked ROMs) # Switch ON the phone again by holding the Power button. # Press START and happy flashing. Do not move your phone or the USB wire as it might fail during flashing. # Wait until the updater shows JOB DONE! DO NOT DISCONNECT BEFORE. # Disconnect your phone. # Leave the phone to reboot 2 times, calibrate screen and finish the start-up procedure. Any questions just ask, or read the forum thread where the rom download link is, it is over 250 pages tho Michael

Can someone help me with this, we've been using this script for a while, but have now changed our GPOs and AD structure... How can I edit the original script not to delete printers from computers named ADMIN- or LAPTOP- ? Cheers, Michael

Both servers are Server 2003... Michael

This seems like the only feasible way we have of doing it, would you be able to point me in the right direction of what to do? Michael

How do you know an image is right?!
linkazoid replied to Little-Miss's topic in Learning Network Manager
Before we had smoothwall, the only way to have unfiltered internet was with a static address, which pointed to a different gateway.... Michael -

A machine can be re-syspreped more than once.... I have some here, that i have modified and gathered more than 20 times.... lol 1 thing I used to forget with image gathering is leaving a static IP..... can be a bit of a PITA..... Michael -
If you have IE8 Installed on a PC, then you can find it in C:\Windows\INF\ i think..... What Server? 03 or 08 - Vista or XP clients? Regards, Michael
