Hi Tom.... or Whoever beats him to post.. lol Our students are searching on wikipedia for William Shakesphere. but is being blocked because of phrases.... it's picking up xxxvi in Roman numerals and then blocking it.. what can i do to get round it?... Also having the same problem with bbc.co.uk/history.... Another thing, our technology department want us to allow glassgiant.com to the students as it has some useful things for them apparently, but it also has games. Can i block just the games on the site and allow the rest? They seem to all be under Free Games!... Cheers, Michael

Our router (default gateway) forwards any requests for external addresses to Smoothwall. We do not use smoothwall as our default gateway, could this be the reason why the exceptions are not working?? Hi All, Our smoothwall has been live this week, the kids hate it and i love it.... Have called support a couple of times already... each time has been fantastic... :thumb: But now i have another problem.... I need to allow our server IP's (10.0.3.1 - 10.0.3.15) to not have to authenticate to smoothwall. Is this possible? Block direct web access is enabled, and so is transparent mode. TIA Michael

Has anyone managed to do this yet... I've been following this guide Microsoft KB952273 but when i run the final command I get the following message.. " The installation package could not be opened. I've had loads of problems with these P2015 printers over the last couple of months... the driver kept on crashing the spooler on XP SP3 machines. Check to make sure the spooler is running.... A temporary workaround for us was to use the HP Laserjet 2000 driver. Michael

XP Pro on 15 here, all work fine, no probs during the install.. Really handy as it has a great 802.1x client that is quick to get a network connection... I absolutely love and recommend the NC10. Michael
