Well the nice thing is i sent an email to the head in regards to my stance and what i said in the earlier post and he is in total agreement with me on it.

So basically staff have been coming up to me asking about copying CD's DVD's so they can be used in more than one classroom etc. I have kinda gone along the lines of if you can provide me with information email, or letter to say it's ok to do so then sure if not then if it states on the CD/DVD unauthorised copying etc i aint touching it. They kinda give the 'are you for real? face' but whats your guys and gals view on this and the legal stance? and can we do it? To be honest i am not comfortable doing it in the first place because if anything it would be my head on the line no one else hence why i haven't done it.

Hi Guys and Gals, Just wanted to get your suggestions on video editing software. Basically looking maybe into getting the kids to do light editing for (Junior school children). We have CC3 windows XP network. Since the Specs of the machines vary(Pentium 4's and core 2 duos with a mixture of 1gb and 2gb RAM) in the ICT suite something light would be better suited to maybe start out on editing. That or i have suggested to maybe purchase in the new financial year some media editing capable machines. All your guys and gals input would be greatly appreciated.

To be honest its not a desk per say all it really is, is a worktop with legs mounted.

Here is another option you can try some bespoke benching set up in the attachment i added. I had a middle bench added recently to my ICT suite and it worked very well.

A printer would also definitely be a good addition to your office and a key cabinet for all the keys for certain things. A wall clock also is a nice visual (i know its on the pc/mac !!!) presence. Some A4 wall file slots for things that need to be accessed quickly. I have noticed that there is a budding minecraft community on here and since this site is geared around education and IT maybe edugeek contact mojang with regards to education-minecraft and be the pioneers in helping liaise with mojang to gear this into an educational model that can be used in schools. That would be very exciting!

So barrats had a 20% off everything sale on the weekend so popped in and picked up 2 pairs of shoes which were 40 quid instead of 50. A nice decent comfortable pair of hush puppies and some airsoft shoes. They both seem really good comfortable wise and seem solid too so I am happy. If this was implemented in a school for say an IT suite of 30 children you would purchase 30 accounts plus the server application? (Minecraft noob here) just trying to understand pricing wise for the actual minecraft software. I know it costs £13.95 on there site.

I had an issue in the past and diagnosed it down to the actual plate connectors being at fault and not the cables. Hope you get it resolved.

if a MFP is the way thats fine too but it cannot be networked as all the network ports are taken up in the office (to be honest it doesn't really need to be networked anyways). Please keep any more recommendations coming.

The head has asked me to look into getting a fax machine that can also scan to a computer for the admin office. I haven't really delved into this area before so if any one can recommended any products would be much appreciated. We have a bt fax line and the current fax machine is on its last legs. Would be connected to the computer via usb for the scanning side. Thanks
