Funnily enough the head asked me about videos to put on the website as well. I was just curious as to what restrictions and set up you had for the youtube account? eg unlisted vids etc. I was thinking of making a school youtube account hence the question.

Hi, you might want to check out Issuu - You Publish since we got our schoolwebsite made by a company they have an option to have a ebook style prospectus designed and put on thats powered by issu. I opted out for them designing it as i will create it at some point, All they want me to do is provide the PDF and they will upload it. Hope that helps?

Yeah I purchased a kindle for my sister as a bday present last year and yeah i know the ins and outs of it was just an interesting find is all. To be honest i will most likely opt for a kindle it just caught my eye was all.

The story....... The donuts in the staff room got contaminated with some kind of mutant virus known only as 'Insert name here' now all the teachers are zombified due to it. This results in the government shutting the whole school down and sealing it off with teachers and pupils inside. Pupils have barricaded themselves into classrooms and other rooms to get away from the teachers and are screaming for help. Its up to you to save the pupils and work out how the donuts got infected in the first place. On the way you will meet zombie teachers, prefects who help you out and the rare non zombified teachers (They are basically on a diet and did not eat a donut) that give super special items. You will manage to navigate the maze/corridors/rooms with the aid of the IT Tech who has managed to barricade himself in his office and is using his expertise to guide you. And i dunno.......

Probably will also go to the eurogamer expo too. EDIT: When i mean trading cards i don't mean pokemon or digimon etc!! (Not that i am saying there is anything wrong ith that) I usually collect movie based trading card sets of shows i like.

I have been to it twice now and its pretty decent. Usually i get there in the first 500 and got a free gold plated hdmi cable a free webcam and one years free norton antivirus subscription at the norton stand. As well as that I have spoken to Microsoft reps in person at the expo with queries and you get some nice ideas for IT related equipment and solutions from the vendors there.

So I have my appraisal tomorrow and in my previous one I did ask to get some ITIL/FITS based training done which they said is fine so I will do that. But is there any short courses or some training ideas/suggestions not expensive that would be a good idea to suggest? I am a ICT Tech based in a primary school with an RM Network. Maintenance of the servers are done by the LA so disregard server training. I graduated in computer engineering in 2005 but besides that no other IT related qualifications i can put down besides experience. Any suggestions welcome.

I dont have virgin but sometimes pages don't load for me and was surfing forums for similar issues that people had and came across a program called namebench which searches and recommends the fastest DNS servers for you. It suggested to me that if i switched to openDNS servers that it would be 55% faster than my current ISP DNS server!!!! I showed my friend just yesterday the program (his on virgin broadband) and he ran it and it stated his was the fastest. Morning Guys and Gals So I have been doing the healthy thing and usually grill my food in the george foreman, but I am kinda getting sick of grilled stuff. I will probably go home later today and order a halogen oven and try that out. Wanted to know your experiences with it, also the one I am looking at has pretty good reviews on amazon marketplace.
