You can do this via Reports>Attendance>Letters. You can specify your attendance range and then upload to individual children's records via DMS. Once you've got your letters set up properly it's pretty good. Holler if you need more info than that! G

My first was induced at 38 weeks due to my blood pressure. She was 7llb 2ozs and very beautiful. She's still very beautiful and 32 in January - now how old do I feel! Number 2 was induced one week over and 8lbs 14ozs. He won't mind me saying that he's not quite so beautiful! Enjoy it. Time passes in the blink of an eye!

Presumably that will change the Report Owners name but not the Supplier and I'm guessing that it's the report Supplier's name that you're trying to change? I don't know that your method would do that Sivadam.

Thoroughly enjoyed it too. Anything with Bill Nighy in is well worth watching as far as I'm concerned. Also enjoyed 'Glorious 39' which was shown a couple of weeks ago in the same BBC2 Sunday evening slot. Bill Nighy again, and filmed largely at Walsingham Abbey in Norfolk which I had visited two days earlier by coincidence! Made the licence fee worthwhile for a change.

Best one I used to manage was to leave the house for work forgetting eldest was still in bed and double lock the front door from the outside. Only way out then was to jump out of the window with a key and unlock the front door.... . .

Yep. We're doing 'wear something comical'. (Not much imagination me I'm in my pink stripey socks and slippers.) Kids have loved it - it's been all smiles around here and we had a big parade around the school. Myself and a colleague baked cakes for the staff room and raised £44!! Plus the £300 that the children donated means that we'll have raised around £350. Not bad as we're only a Primary of 320 children.

Try this. Clear all the marks in DM (you can highlight the column and use the right mouse button and clear all I think). Clear all the marks in Att AND SAVE the cleared marks. Then input the new Att marks and save. This will bring the correct defaults back through to DM with the days absences. G

Just checked it out myself. You do need to have the default meal set up in student details, Panel 6 - dietary, in order for the meals to populate in the dinner register.

Though all I need to enjoy Peanut Butter is a spoon..... @ maniac I would be interested to know what the different ways of cooking a pancake are. I can only think of one.

Oh I am so gorged on pancake I can barely move. Lemon and sugar is my topping of choice. I can't imagine wanting anything else on a pancake - though I may go for a lime variation next year. Hello Little-Miss, We run attendance and dinner money from the school office (our teaching staff don't have access to SIMS). Classes return their manual registers for both attendance and DM to the office I enter the attendance marks from paper registers and my colleague at the next desk sorts out dinner registers. We find that I must be ahead of her so I enter the attendance marks (I do this via the Edit Marks option rather than Take Register) and save each register before she enters the dinner marks via the Dinner Money tab from Edit Marks. If the tick box to link Att and DM is 'ticked' the marks will pull through to DM dependant on what you have the default set to in Student Details (we only use PL for packed lunch or F for FSM). Any children having a School Meal (SM) are then edited. Children not present come through as 'AB' in the dinner register. The only slight hiccup we have had (and this is why I start off before her) is that if we are both working on the same class, it is possible for me to save attendance marks and overwrite her edited SM marks back to the default of PL, though we haven't managed to pin down what exactly causes this. If you do close a register without saving it, then obviously you will lose the marks, though I'm not sure I have quite grasped what you are saying. Don't forget for the marks to transfer into DM they have to be in Att first! Hope this helps. Feel free to contact me if we can be of more help. Gill

I'm fed up of sitting in the office and hearing from the medical room, when the first aider is out "... well I can't put a plaster on it because I don't have a first aid certificate... Geehubb does....." After all they don't pay me any extra because I've got a first aid cert!

Ooh how strange. I was in Lewes last Sunday, weekend by the sea in Brighton visiting my bro. Saw Harvey's but didn't go in due to being accompanied by seven year old niece. What a lovely place Lewes is. Lots of super places to eat and drink, but ended up in Prezzo to accommodate niece's dietary requirements, with a glass of Pinot Grigio (the P-G was my dietary requirement, not hers) (I think it was Prezzo, but now I begin to doubt myself - we looked at so many....!) Oops nearly forgot. Beer of choice (though I have reached 'an age' where my preference is for wine) would have to be anything from the Adnams Brewery in Southwold - preferably drunk in Southwold. (Drunk as in 'to drink' rather than 'drunken', in Southwold).

Excellent - job done. Only problem is there's no nothing on my FB.....

Oh please tell me how to do that! I'm fed up with 'friends' picking bushels of grapes. I used to be quite hooked on Farmville, but haven't been near it for months. Unfortunately the 'friends' haven't cottoned on to that fact yet!
