think its just a sims issue. Sods law that during the august upgrade my SQL server decided to go belly up, now wont start due to missing files.

Im still using 7.102 we was given the impression i needed to import the basedata and enter the results before iu upgraded to august release?

I tried the one on the support site but it says its already been imported which it hasnt.

Hi all, So everyones heard about the OCR nationals basedata issue. I have no clue what im suppose to do and neither does our helpdesk. I cant seem to get the basedata to import into a sep 07 season i created. Says the import has already taken place. I cant refresh the basedata as there is no award there to refresh it too. Anyone succesfully done this? Cheers

Since they went bust last month they still havent sorted out the support side of things! I reported a few machines at the beginning of July and called this morning and they still cant come and sort them!!! So why the hell have they got the helpdesk open if they cant do anything!!!!!!!!

Thanks i will test this later tonight. You would think it would allow exe to be run from CD as most games/apps have a little GUI then you click an install button and the msi is triggered. I will report back with the results later. Mike

Hi all, Ok im making a little GUI to allow easy installation of smart notebook via a VB form. This is going to be used as an autorun on a CD so i need to get the path that the exe is running from (the CD drive letter) then execute the MSI for smart notebook with a few switches. This is what i have so far. Looks great, i mentioned this to my line manager today as its something i need to get nailed down before the academy comes along. Maybe an option would be (for ISA server users at least) to add the users to a security group which is denied access on the firewall if they decline the AUP. And remove them if they agree? That would be helpful to me at least. Looking forward to testing this. Mike
