Hi We have a school that uses Alpha Entry (don't ask) as the sign in / visitor management system. They have purchased the touch screen with camera and Mifare reader. The PC is running Windows 7 but Alpha Entry want to charge us if we wipe the machine to re-install the software Does anyone recommend any free visitor management software as we have the hardware already? Hi We have a VLAN setup for VoIP Switches are a mixture of 1920 and 1920s. Where do I start in terms of QOS that VLAN? I've read about DSCP ? Do I need to setup the ACL then the QOS policy? Can I add all ports to the ACL ? Any help appreciated Thanks

OK, I might be having a stupid moment here but I can't find the setting. Its not in GPO. I can do it via registry but I don't even have a Chrome\DefaultNotificationsSetting in Software\Policies\Google\ Guess I can create it but surely it should be there Thanks

Hi all Don't forget Netsupport DNA when looking at your classroom management solutions. It does all the features mentioned above. It can be scheduled to shut down machines end of the day, turn them back on in the morning and if they are left inactive also shut them down. There is also the new risk index so it can spot more series triggers and prioritise them accordingly. Access to the e-safety side is also now cloud based so DSL's don't need the DNA console to see alerts. It's also possible to add new keywords to the system.

Logs who has read the message etc Works when computer is locked and as mentioned above easy to set shortcut buttons Appreciate there is a cost involved. Hi, One of our nurseries has a HP M477 printer. When it runs out of paper, it shows "Out of Paper" in Word etc If you put more paper in, that message doesn't go away and you can't print. The only way to get it to work is restart the spooler service. Any ideas please? Thanks

Definitely Netsupport school. We have rolled it out to our IT suite. The IT teacher finds it really easy to lock and control pupils screens. It does many more features too - have a check on the website The support is amazing and on hand for any issues you may have.

Hi We have had a school join our trust who have previously purchased Alpha touch screens. They were running Win 7 and as part of the migration process we imaged their machines and installed Win 10. We seem to be having issues with the touch element of the Alpha Touch screens. If staff use Smart notebook, touch the pen, then try to write with their finger, it acts like its a tablet and scrolls the screen around. I don't think they purchased the alpha touch software with the screens as they mainly use notebook. Is there a specific waythey need setting up or should they just be plug and play?

Hi We deploy printers via Group Policy I've never had an issue with drivers, however, at another site we've just got, I've been trying to deploy the printers. They don't deploy on logon, and if you try to add them manually it asks for an admin password to install the driver. (See below) I've set the policy to Devices: Prevent users from installing printer drivers Disabled The drivers are installed on the printer on the server If anyone could help that would be great Thanks
