Double our internal IP address range, demote old DC, fix a CCTV camera. Not too much this year
-
No, how would I edit that field? I guess there is no option in the AD GUI?
-
Do let me know how you get on. At the moment it prompts for their details for their username its prompting them in the format username.school.local. Their email addresses are username.school.co.uk. I have set up a UPN suffix but no dice. Would be cool to have it autofill that bit. The password prompt is ok.

So we have a zone created on our internal DNS of schoolname.co.uk with several things records set up (HAP+ etc). It is a CNAME of autodiscover pointing to the FQDN of autodiscover.outlook.com.

We were finding that OWA was verrrrrrry slow, suspicions are because the proxy is Man in the Middle'ing all the OWA SSL connections so it takes a while. I have got outlook 2010 to prompt for credentials then loads up instantly. Matt

I have done this, I needed the internal autodiscover DNS CNAME. I need to add our domains UPN now.

Thanks cullingsh. I'll just edit what I need on this DC, that should be it then
-
@synaesthesia Did you get anywhere with this? I'd like to get this going here.

I am just importing the Office 2010 ADM's into GP and a question has come up. Will the INF folder where you put the ADM's replicate to my other two DC's? Or do I need to copy them there too? TIA

A decent school speed depends on the number of users and devices I guess. We have 450 pupils and 100 staff and ~250 devices and are on and 80Mb FTTC connection and its perfect. I'm not sure on your question though, sorry,

If you install Firefox then the Firebug add on it will tell you what scripts are taking up what proportion of the login time.
-
What spec is your IIS server? And you have an internal DNS route set up for HAP?

I was knocked out last night in DayZ. Woke back up and they had taken everything, including my clothes!
-
Minecraft was OK around 1.4 then i lost interest. This game sounds a lot like DayZ mod which I'm into at the moment.
-
You need to remove the bit in web.config in the root directory that says *remove for IIS8* to fix the CSS.
-
I've had this pop up too, I guess maybe a dodgy update? The GPO seems to have no effect on its behaviour. I have deployed this reg key via GPP, will see what happens!

Map Curriculum drive onto Admin machine
fairm010 replied to Simmy's topic in Windows Server 2000/2003
When we had the same setup (which I promptly ripped out) they were on different IP ranges on different VLAN's. -

They are most likely on separate VLAN's. Is this an LEA setup? -
20 Unifi AP's here, full site coverage, works like a dream!

HAP+ V9 Unkown Error After Fixing Save Button
fairm010 replied to JonZaman's topic in Home Access Plus+
You need to ensure that your app_data folder is not set to read only. My web server (the server HAP runs on) is not a domain controller so no, it does not cause an issue. -

They are entered at the very start of the HAP_config The setup sets this up for you though!
