Update. It appears Ekte revoked our account by mistake but still not good and still waiting for it to be fixed. Who do you buy your Edusync from as I understand it need to be bought from a partner and not direct from Wonde?

Yes all correct in SIMS but to update the thread Wonde informs me that Ekte who we bought the service through revoked our access last week. Just waiting for Ekte to explain why! Maybe the bill wasn't paid, I don't know but it would have been nice for Ekte to inform us this was going to happen.

The pupils started back last Tuesday but we are having problems with the syncing of MyLogin and Wonde in that pupils are still in their old classes. We also use Purple Mash and TTRS that both sync with Wonde and they are working fine. Don't know if it's because we started back earlier than other schools or not. Second problem is we use Edusync and the icon is missing from Wonde's approved applications page. When I tri to access Edusync from a url I get a message saying my access is revoked.

No not surface but HP laptops. They are only 2 years old but someone installed win10 on them so need imaging.

Well I pulled the HDMI and there was no display until I put the HDMI back in. Not the end of the world but it does cause problems for GBInfo.

Displayport to HDMI lead plus a USB lead for the built-in webcam.

Using Win11 24H2 with a single HP E234D monitor and in display setting the display is showing as 2 monitors extending. Normally I would leave it as it works fine but it's displaying 2 wallpapers side by side. We use BGInfo and this will refresh every logon so it's not just a case of changing the wallpaper. Any idea how to get the PC to just see one monitor?

So the upgrade is complete but to help others Paxton said to upgrade to 6.07 first then upgrade to 6.09 as the difference from 6.00 to 6.09 is too much and SQL may fail the upgrade.

@Chris_Cook thanks for taking the time to include all the info. I plan to run the upgrade tomorrow but think it would be wise to check with Paxton first to make sure I have the latest upgrade. And speaking of upgrades I see version 7 is being released next year but it’s not compatible with Net2 Classic ACUs so unless you replace the classic ACUs you can’t upgrade.

Running Net2 Pro 6.00.7408.5056 that we would like to upgrade to 6.09.15225.3956. This was downloaded from Paxton last June and as it's been a while since I did anything like this I just wanted to check it is an over the top upgrade. The system was installed professionally some years ago but there is no record of the licence key and now I'm told the company that fitted it has ceased trading. So, do I need the licence key to upgrade the software and is the licence key stored in the registry? Thanks.

We have Hue visualisers running on 1809 LTSC. Teachers use the camera app with them but a common complaint is they would like the image rotated and as VLC is already installed I thought I would quickly knock up a script that can be added to the start menu that opens VLC and rotates the image but although the script opens VLC it doesn't rotate the image. Veeam have been running faultlessly for almost a week and now has 1 full backup and 5 increment backups. When I setup Veeam for testing there were options for how many and how long to keep backups for. What is the recommended settings please? At the moment Veeam runs a volume level backup on the OS drive as that is where the file shares are. The MSP setup the server and if I were doing it I would have made a second data drive but there you go. Storage is set to the local Veeam server with a retention of 7 days. Keep certain full backups longer for archival purposes, 1 weekly. Under configure, configure GFS. Keep weekly full backups for 1 week. If multiple full backups exist, use the one from Sunday. Configure secondary destinations for this job - TRUE Secondary target is the copy job which uploads to Peasoup cloud. Schedule is daily at 18:00. The first full backup was 1.4 GB and the increment backup are around 15GB each. The Peasoup trial is 2TB
